Our sailors will moving on to the 2nd phase of "Nuke" School. Indoc starts on Feb.9th and classes on the 13th. Since we will all be in the "same boat" together, I thought it will be nice to share our experiences.  Lets continue to support our sailors and each other!

hello all!!

i am sitting in a hotel room in goose creek waiting for matthew so we can all go to the beach.    we ended driving all the way down yesterday.  really glad we did.  more time with matthew.

matthew passed his comps and now onto prototype.  im not sure how it works, but i hope you ladies will still be in the same group.  my son doesnt know for sure yet where he is going for protoype.

matthew said they are practicing for graduation inside in case it rains.

Hi fellow Class 1202 parents,

Can someone take some photos this Friday? I am unable to attend graduation but will follow up in BS next week.  My MM son, is 1202-11 class leader, Nick...Please share with photos and descriptions of graduation.  Congrats to all the sailors on a grand accomplishment!

Thanks so much and have a great time with your sailors!

Lisa

matthew is home till the weekend. then him and his new wife will be heading back down.    he will be on grad hold in goose creek for now.

please stay in touch!

may God Bless you all!!!

you too Tina, hard to believe this phase is over already. Colins orders for PS are different than he was told, seems he will be starting sooner according to them! States check in the 30th this month and classes up possibly in August instead of October, projected grad date of January!

Thanks Tina,

Josh will also be on grad hold taking college classes. He requested Prototype in GC. Originally he said he wanted BS but says the facilities are better in GC. He is also home until end of next weekend. We had a nice party for him last Saturday after getting home at 5:30 in the a.m. I managed it on only  3 hours of sleep. Party was a huge sucess. We all had tons of fun but boy did I sleep good Saturday night.

Amanda, thanks for taking those 2 pics for me. They were my only non phone photos. I can tell it was a hectic moment . I just want to tell you how much I appreciated it.

We had a wonderful weekend with my son in Charleston after power school graduation.  Charleston is a beautiful city but it sure is humid.  We stayed in the villa's and we all enjoyed that.  We all flew home yesterday and he gets to stay until next week.

you are very welcome Cindy! I had another mom that couldnt make it asked for pics, and got some good ones!
