Haven't found many folks with SRs in this same group as my son.  Thought I'd try a new discussion?  I know 266 is brother div. with 265.  There must be a bunch of ya's out there!

Thanks MOMOFTOM - I didn't know about this.

Hi my daughter is div 266

HI, My son is in Division 265.  My name is Melette and so happens my son mentioned a buddy from NH....

Hi everyone.  What a great week.  First 3 letters from my daughter yesterday and now a phone call today.  She sounded great.   I did ask her a few questions, but I think she really wanted to talk so I just let her.  She did say she made a friend who is from Wisconsin.  We are too.  She had met her at meps the day they left (June 27th).  Anyone else from Wisconsin?  She also mentioned tomorrow is 3-1.

Did you guys in DIV 266 get your calls today?!!!!!!! I did, I was so HAPPY he sounded so good.  I really wasn't sure what to expect after reading some other posts, he was really positive though and sounded so good.  We got to talk for almost 1/2 an hour.  He said the high light of their day is getting to read their mail and write back, haha Write, Write, Write he says :) He has had his peanut butter shot already, passed the swim test, and is passing all his PT tests he says.  I am so happy today, plus a got another letter today.  Two days in a row.  I'm a lucky Momma today!

I received a letter yesterday from my SR and he stated he got on "ship staff".  Can anyone fill me in?

That means he has a leadership position of sorts in the division and helps to keep everyone else in line.  My son is MA, and he says even though it's somewhat stressful, he intends on keeping it.

My SR is in 265 and Im still trying to patiently wait for that 3 wk phone call.  How many others in 265 received phone calls?  I'd like to hear any news.

I received a three minute phone call on Wednesday from my SR on Div. 265. She was on her way to stand watch and one of YOUR sons was nice enough to let her slip in front of him in line! :) She was choking back tears and sounded a little bit like a swollen chipmunk because of the extractions (wisdom and baby teeth - yes, baby teeth). She is an extraordinary young woman and spent most of her time thanking ME for all I have done. I let her talk, because I have read in her letters how she is starved for the sound of her own voice. There will be plenty of time to argue who owes whom the gratitude.

She was a little frustrated about the inability or unwillingness o some of the girls to follow instructions (like not talking), but otherwise she was very positive - positively looking forward to graduation! :)

And, she said she was fully recovered from the flu (from the shot or new environment, we may never know) and thankful for the rest after dental. Then, she had to run with an I Love you and a see you soon....

I got my phone call on Thursday.  I don't know if they let them all call on the same day or not.  I also went home on Thursday to a letter waiting in the mail.

Hi Becky.  My name is Kendra.  My daughter is apart of this division.  So nice to be able to talk with someone who is going through the same experience that I am.
