Hi Brendabo, my son is also in the same ship/division! Will you be able to attend PIR?
Beth

yes we will be going!!  I am so ready for it to be here!!  Where are you from?

Fort Wayne Indiana so PIR is not too long a drive. Where are you coming from? I know, I can't wait! My SR is my only child and I try to be strong and know no news is good news but till I get some word from him I'll worry.
Beth

We are from Kansas close to Kansas City. My son is my 3rd.  the 2nd to join.  My daughter served in the Air Force and is currently in the army National Guard.  She was deployed in Africa for 15 months.  But this doesn't get any easier!!

And my son didn't write anything on his form letter :(

I got mine too! No note though, there wasn't even a space for one?

Mine put on the flap inside the envelope where you seal the envelope. Secretly hidden

Since they have changed the Form Letter (we have an example of last years "model...LOL) and the lines for writing a note are removed...my guess is that since there is no "prompt", most won't write one. :-(

Hi Brenda. My sons girlfriend got the box =( neither of us the letter, address or PIR date so I finally texted his recruiter and he gave me the address, his PIR is Sept 7, Ship 9 div 284!!! Yay same as your son. please keep me posted on anything that you get... Thank you!!

For sure I will let you know when I get things!  My son knows better than to send anything to anyone else except his mom first!!

I just got my letter too! My son also graduates on Sept 07. He is ship 09 div 288. I didn't get any personal writing yet,

just the form. If our sons are in the same "ship", does that mean barracks?

4camps
