My husband is! Div 285 :)

My son is in Division 286.  We just received our letter and are excited about the upcoming PIR date!

Both of my sons are div 285. What a-schools will your SRs be going to? Are y'all planning on attending PIR?

I am attending PIR.  We are excited to go.  His A school is in Great Lakes -

My boyfriend is staying in the great lakes for a school as well. His recruit says that means we will get to see him bothfriday at pir and the whole day Saturday because he won't have to get on a plane to go anywhere sat!!

Did you get a hotel yet?

Hi Proudmomof2,

My son is with yours in D285. He will be going on to Pensacola, PACT/AN. I will be at PIR, reserved Navy Lodge working on flights now. We live in CT but will probably fly out of NY. My other son goes to GL BC in November.

So, Imv322 -- my oldest son will also be continuing on to Pensacola for his A school. My youngest will be going to San Antonio. We have also reserved our rooms for the Navy Lodge. Did you receive a letter this past week? I feel very fortunate in that I got one from both of my boys! :)

I reserved our rooms this mornig Navy Gateway it's on the base. i FEEL MUCH BETTER NOW

Yes recvd my letter thurs, was thrilled. He said all was going good, he liked BC. Said his div just earned the blue cami's, up til that they only had sweats. he had to get 7shots and was shaved bald. That's great you rcvd 2 letters, how are your boys adjusting?
My husband and I are also attending PIR. We are bringing my oldest son's fiancé and her parents. So, there will be 5 of us. We are booked at the Navy Lodge. $66 a night, I have heard but not confirmed that you do not have to be military to book there just let them know you are going to PIR. (my hubby is retired navy, so that's why I'm not sure) :). Anybody else staying at the lodge?
That's correct...you do not have to be military. Just tell them you are coming for PIR and they will ask for your recruits info.
