here is a link to a facebook group that you may want to join. There are people on it now from all the active PIR groups as well as several people who have already had PIR who help answer questions. Just be sure to keep coming to this N4M's page and share any letters and info you have received and to ask questions that other may benefit from as well. Some people do not have facebook and you want to meet them and get to know them as well :-) https://www.facebook.com/groups/327167160695549/ Thanks everyone and welcome to your PIR group page. There is also a Navy for Moms group on facebook and a Navy Mom group on facebook but I am not sure if they are closed groups or not.
If you want a facebook group that is for your individual PIR or Divisions please start that group yourself, make it a closed group and let people ask to join. Don't go to one that others have created because you have no way of knowing who they are or if they really have someone at bootcamp or in the Navy. You always want to be safe when online and no matter what site you are on please don't discuss ship movement or give specific dates.
Tracyln - My son will be going to MS after BC also and PIR is 9/7. So, if they don't know each other at BC, I bet they meet in MS!
