No worries, Jodi - I now can navigate the Facebook Recruit page better and know that maybe as we get closer to PIR we will find a token photo of our Div on there.  Still holding our hope for my letter this week!

Jodi-Josh's mom --   I just went to that FB page and did not see any pictures taken past July 6th and that was the PIR for July 6th.  so I dont think that 818 is there..  I am wondering if it is good to reply to posts on a FB page because people can connect your SR to you via FB and thus learn the name of your recruit if they are on your FB..  Does anyone have a thought about that?

Okay just a tiny piece of trivia....  Today while at the supermarket putting groceries in the back of my SUV I noticed my license plate number for some odd reason....   818   ....  followed by 3 letters...  but  a "weird" moment...lol

Morning, Brenda, how are you holding up? That is weird about your plate number. I never look at mine anymore (remember the time, way back, when if you charged your gas on a credit card, you had to give them your license plate number and you knew it by heart? Of course, that was when gas was about 59 cents a gal. haha.). It is a good question about posting on facebook. Since I really don't go on it too often, wouldn't really know.

No letter yet....  but at least that seems consistent!  When I think about all that they have to do and the fact that their lives have been instantly changed as well as the time they need to bond together as a TEAM.  I am feeling okay that they are focused on what is in front of them...  that is why I spent nearly every moment with mine the month before he left :)  I am being strong for my boy!!  But this sure helps to have this support of other mama's

Brenda, Jesse's mom got a letter so hopefully he's in the same division and that means our letters are on their way.

Has anyone received a letter yet?

Good Morning, Jesse's Mom. No one has received a letter yet that I know of. The other divisions in our PIR date have but our boys seem to have missed the opportunity to write on 7/14. Hopefully they were able to write last Sunday and we will be getting letters this week.  Do you have a SR in Division 818? If so, what is their rate?

I received my first letter this morning.... soon after I wrote the above post.  I am so relieved.

Thats wonderful, Jesse's mom. Hopefully I'll have one when I get home. Too bad I have an appointment and won't get home until later. How is he doing? I assume it was on the positive side since you were relieved. Is he in Division 818?

Yes.  Jesse left for Boot Camp July 3.  He's Ship 4 / Div 818.  Contract for Air Rescue Swimmer

Wonderful, found another rescue swimmer. Have you joined the Moms of Rescue Swimmers site yet?
