I am getting letters every Thursday! Sounds like there is a very little time to write if they have the energy but most nights there is no energy left! Drew told me when I spoke to him that they have the most Nukes (26 of 89) in their Division so they are VERY smart. My kid is one of the athletic guys and aced the advanced swim test! I was able to find the meanings of the flags they carry which symbolize what achievements they have made.

This website is SO awesome ~ Thanks Navyformoms.com!

I've also received letters the last two Thursdays.  Needless to say I'm hoping for another tomorrow.  The letters are brief, one side of one page, but they let me know he's doing ok.  What more can I ask for?

Its Thursday! Cant wait for my letter! I treasure them so much! He has called me Mommy (okay Mommy Dearest) in all the letters so far! Gotta love him!

My son is on in this divison also. Thank you all for great talks on here . It helps to know others are feeling like you. Thank you all so much.

Hi again :)

what is your son's name?  where are you from?  I am getting more excited as the day gets closer.

Was getting very worried because hadn't heard anything from my SR for almost 2 weeks.  Finally a letter arrived today for his younger brother.  Waiting for him to come home and read it!  I've been sending mail to the new address.  Hope that means he is getting it.  Two weeks and counting!

Hi Sam, there are quite a few moms wondering if they are getting mail, because items (phone cards, important bank info they needed, pictures, etc..) have not been mentioned in their letters to home.  We are receiving their mail, but worried they aren't receiving mail from family and friends.  And just about all these moms, are writiing, saying their SRs are telling us to tell everyone to write.  frustrating

Yesterday's envelope had 3 letters, dated 7/17, 7/19, and undated.  He said all is well, passed the test to dress himself and make his bed, passed his PFA even though he had a sore throat, cough and fever. He also said the division failed the drill inspection!

that's awesome that you got that many letters.  Im happy for you.  Did he also tell you that they might be having extra liberty time because they could be leaving the following day, after PIR? and my son's name is Jake.

Tammy :)

My son is Division 244 too!!!  My son is Chad!

I hope to meet you next week. Eddie. Told me two other sailors were going where he has been ordered. I would love to met those families!

Hi Chadsmom, I am really hoping to meet all of the mom's from these sites, I will have to write ya'll down, so I don't forget who is who.  My son's name is Jake, obviously from 244 too.

Tammy
