OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

What airport is thebest to fly into and which hotel?

you can go to O'hare or Midway, both are good.

We created a facebook group for your PIR and for your brother Divisions. We would like for someone who actually has a recruit in these divisions to be an admin on the group so please join it and let me know if you would be interested in helping out. Navy for moms is near and dear to our hearts but we understand about wanting to have both options. So please continue to post on this page and discussion as well on a regular basis. There will be new members joining this group almost every day right up until PIR :-) So have fun on both pages.
