I agree with you - the voice did get small and tiny at the end. And it rips your heart out! My son said "ok mom I gotta go. I love you and Im so sorry I did this to you". Click. AAARRGGGHHH! That made me feel terrible! I know he meant that he was sorry this has been so hard on me and he doesnt second guess his choice to join the navy, but it was still hard to hear him say that. My son must've arrived with your daughter, because my phone call was the same time as yours. Hang in there, we'll get through this together!

Hey there! I was wondering about the other moms. Our group seemed so small, but it's growing. :) Josh left Texas Tuesday the 24th. I am hoping he will get to bond with the sons/daughters of the moms I've already connected with here. Great place for support. I never did receive the 10 sec call, but I did however, get the last cell phone call saying, 'mom, flying is incredible!' (his first plane ride) :))

Oh rox so glad you got a call. Nothing yet. Found out his cell phone ran out of minutes before his flight. No news is good news right? Holding it together as much as I can. Finally got the nerve to go into his room to start the remodeling on it. We decided to make it a military room in honor of both sons and husband. One son in Army , now son in Navy and husband ex marine.

Do they really know that already!!!???!!! I'm scared to call. HA!

Yeah, I got a call, but I was so hoping to get one more after he was at the training center. My call was short, he had very little battery and he wanted to talk to his brother one more time, who was out so he had to make another call. No photos. He may not have thought of that.

Kathelyn's Mom, those are great shots!!!! Something to cherish.

Alvarezmom, way to go getting in there and making some changes!!!

Good grief! That was fast!

Hubby just sent me pictures of "the box." It came today. Wasn't expecting to see it before next week.

Oh, your husband it too funny!

wow you guys havent heard anything no box so i will go to the recuiter monday see if they know nicks info will let you all know. it would be great for some of them to be together and us all connected it would be nice to meet at pir.

i assume the kids are still doing p time and real boot camp will start monday maybe anyone know.  kaitlyns mom did she say if she was in boot camp already or just getting ready think we are all about the same stag with our kids at camp since they arrived together almost.

I finally got the 10 second call!!!!! I'm so relieved. Hi mom I'm fine I love you!!!!! Whew what a day!!!!

Glad you got the finally got the  call.  Now I not only worried about my daughter, but the other moms' kids as well.

Alvarezmom, I know you must be so releaved! I'm excited for you that you got the call. :-) Gives me hope that mine is still coming!!! :-)
