Hello All!

I have 8 greeting cards that I am working on sending out to my husband to pass out in his division. I will be asking him to pass these out to SR's in his division that are needing extra support, or who aren't receiving letters from home. I need YOU guys to help! I am collecting "signatures" to add in the cards. (eg:I know that you can do this, and I believe in YOU! -Mrs. Beth, proud mom of two Navy sailors) Please use only your first name for security reasons on this site. I will be copying and pasting all of the signatures onto a single letter and include that in each card. I am also working on getting calling cards for all these SR's through the website that was posted earlier. That way each SR will receive a few calling cards, notes of wisdom and encouragement from all of us, and a card for it to be all wrapped up in. I will also be including a carefully worded note to the RDC so that when he/ she inspects it they will understand what purpose the cards are for and I will not get my SR into any trouble. Thank you all very much for any "signatures"!! I hope that I will inspire others with SR's in other divisions to do the same. I know my hubby's division has some SR's that are having an especially hard time and could stand to get a little encouragement! Please post your "signatures" here or private message them to me. Thank you very much!!

what a great idea, thank you, here is mine

You have worked hard to get to this point, keep it up, you CAN DO IT!!!  Just a few more weeks, and this will all be behind you and you will be starting a new and exciting chapter to you life!!!   We are all (every Navy Mom) thinking about all our sailors and praying for everyone of you.

GREAT JOB!!

Kathy

What a wonderful thing to do, newnavywife!  If your SR can give you the last/first names of some of the SRs (would be same address as your SR), then you could address the cards directly to the SRs.  Just a thought....they LOVE having their names called at mail call.

I thought about this, but it would be a couple weeks by the time my SR was able to get my letter and send a response. So I think I will go ahead and send them blank and have him write in the names to get them done in a timely fashion.

maybe some of the other divisions and ships can do the same...  my daughter is in ship 11 div 279, i will ask her and do the same for this ship/division if we can get can more notes to post...

Great Katvando! I posted this in the other groups I belong to as well. I would be more than happy to e-mail you and anyone else wanting to do this all of the responses I get. ALSO if anyone would like to copy and paste my post in other groups they belong to in order to get more responses, feel free. I am trying to get this done asap to send to them soon in order to lift their spirits! The calling card company just e-mailed me three cards per letter so I will include those too!!

Such a sweet idea! Mrs Tracie proud mom wit son PIR 9-7-12

Ok sorry I didnt see where we were writing something!

Just a few words to say how very proud all of us Navy Moms are of you. Its a difficult road and sometimes you may feel alone but look around you and know each and everyone who is with you going through the same experiences! Thank you so much for serving our country! PIR here you come!!

Tracie

Thanks so much for choosing to serve our great country, I really appreciate that. Remember to listen carefully and do what they say and try to stay under the radar. You will be fine and this time will pass much quicker than you think! God Bless, Lora (Brevard, NC)

Thank-you for your service to our country.  You have achieved so much in getting this far - keep up your hard work, and it will soon be over.  I will be thinking of you as you continue your journey.  Best wishes, Navy Wife of an MA3.

I love this idea!!! Can we do it for other Div.s?? I would love to do it in my sons' Div. also. Here I go:

I am so proud of the person you are becoming. You are learning to be self-reliant and also to be a person who can be counted on and respected. I was also a recruit (once upon a time, haha) and so I understand the isolation you feel. Take each day one at a time and treat each task as an accomplishment of a job well done! Thank you so much for your sacrifices and I want you to know that I am praying for you.

Cheri

The decision you have made to serve your country in the Navy is monumentous. And down the road, in later years you can look back and say WOW. I did this. I made an impact on not only my life, but the whole world in such an awesome way!

At times this road will be extremely hard, but nothing worth having or doing in life is ever easy. It's all about what you make of it. Go for it 100%!

Please know that we all are very PROUD of you, and we THANK YOU.

Fair winds and smooth sailing,

Stacey

What a brave and commendable road you are traveling.  There will be bumpy days and times when you question your decision, but know that may have been where you are now and made it and you will too.  There are so many people standing behind you and cheering you on.  Know that we are proud of you and rooting for you every day and every step of the way!  You got this!

Kate

If you are ever able to get any names of SR's who need mail, please PM me and I will write them.  Thank you newnavywife2012
