Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

My son leaves the 10th from pa, not sure how anything works but if he has only christmas day for leave, I plan on being in goose creek, sc with him. How are you holding up with the time getting so close?

holding up I have been doing some research on his job looking at videos and praying for him. well it really havent hit me yet because we are close that my first born and he is spoiled, and i am use to going in his room all the time of nite and we always plannig games with each other. I told my church family to look out I will be crying everyday they see me.

My son leaves Sept 12th from KC He leaves his hometown on the 11th. I am so proud, but yet sad to be losing my baby, but I know he's going to be a great sailor

Yes same here. He leave his hometown on the 11th also. and leave Alabama on the 12th. We need to keep in touch. My name is Madeline by the way. I am a single mom of two I am a Evanglist/Minister in the gospel. Spent 18 1/2 years in the Army.

Our sons left together yesterday.It was so hard letting him go.He is my oldest.I have been a basket case for few weeks now.He act like it wasn't no big deal leaving home,but I tell you it is.I know this is the best thing for him to do. He needs to make something out of life.He's gonna do great things while he is in the Navy. I am one proud mom:)

My oldest son also left for BC on Sept. 12th. I recieved the scripted Im here phone call last night. I didnt realize that I would have such a hard time with him leaving. Im trying to keep positive thoughts instead of just thinking about how he is not around anymore. I think the hardest part is not being able to cummunicate with them during the first couple of weeks.

Well as days go back the more it hit me. My son act like it doesnt bother him. He's having fun with his classmates and friends but the more I think about it the more I have to pray for him.
