Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

He told us that he got one hour to call anyone he wanted. He said it was hard, but he was doing fine. He sounded good. It made us feel better hearing from him. We didn't even think to ask what day they were on - sorry.

We got a call today as well. It was great to hear his voice and actually be able to ask questions. (Of course I forgot to ask the important questions!) He's having a hard time with the no talking thing, too. I'm praying that they all make it thru to PIR 9/7. I know they have to be strict, but no talking? Really? I'd get sent home the first day! (Or at least graduate 2 months late.) But I'm happy to know that he's doing okay and has made friends.

my son is Ship 9 div 287. His 1 phone call and the 2 letters have been so sad to read. It sounds like they are in trouble and getting IT all the time. He said no one was working as a team, people weren't listening, etc. Makes me so nervous...that they are over 1/2 way to PIR and not doing well as a Div and getting IT. Has anyone gotten any good news from their SR from ship 9 div 287? We haven't heard from our son since last Wednesday.

There are only 7 members here? Its just likes but not sure if that means members too. Would love to meet more moms in these divisions.

Got a great letter today!!!!! 2 pages with lots of detail on the daily routine. Sounds very upbeat and counting down the days to graduation. Has made a friend that will be attending "A" school with in San Antonio. My son said that he is feeling a little under the weather, with a sore throat. Hope he is not getting sick. Just so happy to hear from him and he did say that he should be getting to call home very soon. Still carrying my phone every where just waiting to hear his voice.
