No letters arrived here today..ugh
His brothers and i just sent another letter out to my son ship12 div 306. we really miss him a lot. I just wish i was better prepared financially, My husband and i are still talking about how were going to get there, are we going to fly or drive. looking for the cheapest way to go. We know this is one in a life time event, and we love our son dearly. And we don't want to disappoint him. I just pray to God to guide us.
My husband is in 306. Got his letter Wednesday.
Good Morning!! No letter here as of yesterday. I have a busy day so I won't be able to get to the mail until late tonight. I'm still holding out hope that he even sends me a letter. Have a good day everyone!!
I am awaiting my mailman now.....he better have that letter if he knows what is good for him!!!! lol, the way I watch him put the mail in the box, he either thinks I have a thing for him or thinks I am crazy!!!!! I am hoping for my letter today and a call tomorrow. This waiting is killing me........I can't wait for him to go to school.
Hi All, I am new to this group, my son just found out yesterday that due to him failing a test, his PIR has been moved back 2 weeks, and they changed he was previously Ship 09, Div 284 he is now Ship 12, Div 306. I am praying that this does not happen again, as he was devastated that he would not be graduating with his original group. I look forward to getting to know all of you and hopefully meeting you at the PIR. I have a few weeks experience so please feel free to ask questions and if there is anything I can share, I will be more than happy to do so.
Thank you Zachsmomct! judging from your screen name, are you from CT? We actually live 20 minutes south of GL and when he called yesterday, it was so very hard for me to not drive there and comfort him, I know he is an adult and a SR, but he is also my baby, something I know that only a "mom" can understand . :)
1sailormom, I just went to join, thanks for letting me know about this group.
