Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

There are several meet and greets that you can go to. You might want to post this on the main page too so more see it. I am sure there will be several that will let you know which meet and greet they will be attending.
Hello! There are several actually! The one at Ramada, and then Sarge's meet and greet. If you go to the right column here on the side, you can RSVP to both. Many of us will be there, and it's a chance to get to know each other face to face.
There's also a facebook page for this PIR, if you are on Facebook. Do a search for PIR 8-31. It's a closed group, so one of the admin will have to add you, but you can message them and request it. Let me know if you have trouble finding it.

Hi Chantell - I think most of this TG has opted to sign up for Sarge's meet & greet on Thursday at the Sundance Saloon. We are a good mix of sometimes nutty folks, but we are harmless and supportive of each other. :) Hope to see you in a couple of weeks.
