OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Ship 04 (USS Arleigh Burke) Divisions 819 & 820 (brother divisions)
Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 819 & 820. It only happens a few times a year when there are two special ops groups in one TG.
Please be very aware when posting about your SRs who are in one of these divisions. Although they are still in BC, what they are doing may be slightly different from what the other division are doing. Make sure you read the OPSEC rules (everyone should).

Wenda you are in the right place.It is more than likely that all the guys in these divisions are not there for the same thing. SWCC is more than likely mixed in. 800 divisions can be rescue swimmers and EOD as well.
I am blank on the tg. Not sure what that refers to. Anyone else know?

A Training Group is made up of several Divisions that all PIR on the same Day.
Your SR's (Seaman Recruits) are in Divisions 819 and 820 and they are a part of TG 46. Divisions 307-316 and 946 (900's last two numbers reflect the TG) are also a part of this TG.
TG 46 is the 46th TG that will Graduate from RTC (Recruit Training Command) for the 2012 Fiscal Year. Military Fiscal Year starts on October 1.

I'm seeing in the comments in the PIR 9/28 group that a lot of parents in the 300 DIV's have already received 'real' letters from their SR's.
Anyone in 04/820 get a letter (beyond the form letter) yet?
I assume these DIVs days are a bit busier than the others so may have less time to write and my son isn't much in to writing letters anyway (plus, has many people in different locations to write); still, none yet for this mom. :(

SEAttlemom you may be surprised on how many letters your recruit writes. They dont have a lot of time to write, except for Sunday nights. They may get some free time for good behavior to write in between.
Yes it is set up the same way for mail as other divisions. If you see that they are getting letters, then you should be too, so start stalking the mail person. You will probably know each other by first name by the time BC is over. lol
Since they write on Sunday, Thursdays seem to be a popular mail day.

Saw you posted a standard daily schedule for the 800's. It seems so different than the account of 'what happens at bootcamp - Day-per-Day' posted (I think by Craig) on NAVYdep.com. When do they fit all that extra activity in showing on NAVYdep.com? I'm trying to figure out which service week and day my son would be on right now.
Also, so you know why they would combine two 800 DIV's into one TG - is there an abundance of 800 qualified SR's right now; or might they have contracted more to start right now in order to move more through this upcoming 'winter' pipeline?
So many questions, I'm sorry. Thanks for your guidance and wisdom.

This is different and honestly I do not know why. There are usually 2 divisions to a Class, but they PIR a week apart. Its possible that one division is SEAL contracts and the other is SPEC OPS contracts. For instance the division 818 does not have any SEAL candidates in it at all. The schedule I posted is from a recruit in a previous 800 division that he wrote in his letter home. I can't imagine it has changed much, but its possible. Its the Navy, nothing is set in stone.
They had stopped winter classes awhile back, but that may of changed as well.
