Isn't it wonderful to see how they have grown during these past few weeks. It's a far cry from "I miss you, my bed and my life" to "I'm doing great". By my calculations they should be on 6-2 today. Do you think the call they are hoping to make next week will be the "I'm a sailor call?"

They have grown up so much in the past 6 weeks!  I can definately tell by the mature letters I am receiving and the way he sounds on the phone, I am preparing to see a mature young man when I get to the Great Lakes Thank you Navy!!  Can't wait to get the call...

Ditto this thought!  He seems almost like a new person.

Thank you for letting us know when battlestations is. I thought that since some were saying to expect a call on Wednesday that might be the case. Good to know for sure. Keeping fingers crossed that all of our SR's pass!!!

Thank you sooooo much for the update!! Didn't receive a letter this week and I love getting these updates and info!!! I will definitely have my phone on me this week!

I am so confused by what day they are on. I've seen two different posts and it's not figuring the same. Can anyone shed some light on this?

I made a calendar at work after I got one of my SR's letters and based on that Wednesday was 5-5 so today should be 6-2. I might be off a day or so since I can't find the calendar here at work but I think thats pretty close.

You are right Jodi-Josh's Mom! Today is 6-2 day, I also made a calendar so I don't lose track on what day it is!

Adamsproudmama, different divisions are on different days. I don't know if this is why you saw different days???

I didn't realize that the weekends didn't count and about P-week.  I was off because of that.  I found a link that explained it all.  Also, since my SR arrived on July 3, I don't think that July 4 counted either because of being a holiday.  Anyways, we are down to under a week for battle stations and can't wait for the call.

Hi, my son is in this division also. I wish I had know about Navy For Moms weeks ago!

Ive gotten one call and one letter so far. My daughter my sons girlfriend, my ex husband and I are all coming up from North Carolina to graduation.
