So glad to hear some good news about the division. My SR is also in Ship 13 Div 313. I have not received a letter from him yet and it is killing me. At least the division seems to be doing good, so that will have to do for me until I finally hear from him.

Great news thanks for sharing...I have not received a letter yet..but it does make me feel good to hear they are working as a group and getting along great........

Darn, another day~No letter. I hope he didn't get himself into trouble already and he has been suspended from writing letters?  Could this happen?

I am praying really hard that you hear something soon! Think positive thoughts! Hugs!
I got my letter!!!!! :-)
He said he's very happy, isn't getting into trouble and that it's an awesome experience! :-) He said a lot of his division gets into trouble a lot for notlistening paying attention LOL!!!
So happy right now! :-)
I'm hearing the same thing about not listening, and shortened hygiene time.
My son said the same thing. He is so frustrated that his division cannot get their act together. Hopefully they will start to work together now that they are done with their processing

Got my letter, it was like hitting the lottery (well at least for us Moms)!!!!!
My son said he was getting along fine and that the time was flying by. He also said that a lot of his ship/division gets into trouble for not paying attention and not keeping their mouth shut.  He also stated that their division is always behind because of the ones that are not cooperating. Kinda feel sorry for the ones that are trying there best but, it is a learning experience. Praying that the division will get their act together and the remainder of their experience will be wonderful. Hope everyone has a pleasant weekend.

Hi Tampa Sailor Mom..

my son is in your ship and division..I have not gotten a letter as of yet, but my son may not write ( I hope he does), but anyways thanks for posting the update on the division...this is the first negative that I have read about our division...so I hope they get there act together as well....and it better not be my son (LOL) I am sure it is not as Kyle would get in trouble for not saying much ( not much of a talker that kid of mine)

Take care, talk soon,

Jo

Jo,

I pray that you will get a letter soon. My son actually told me that he wouldn't be writing as he doesn't like to write either. That is the reason for my excitement. It was actually more like a note. However, I would have been happy to hear Mom, I'm ok. To easy your mind, he did state that he thought the upcoming weeks would get easier as everyone should be adjusting. My son's penmanship was a lot more legiable. I feel like someone was correcting him, you never know. He also stated that he should be able to call home in about a week and a half. I will ask my son if he knows Kyle and if he does I will ask him to encourage him to write something. About our division not paying attention and getting into trouble. Moms, this is out of our hands. They are young men now, somehow we've become responsible adults. We need to pray for our division and turn it over to God.

Hang in there,

Beth

Thanks Beth,

The words of kindness from all us moms seem to really help me and I hope other moms out.  As for your sons penmanship there was another mom that posted her son even asked her in the letter what she thinks of his new "Navy Writing"....I got a big kick out of that so it must be something they are required to do is write neatly..........lol

Talk soon,

Jo

Well no real big surprise for me today....still no letters from Kyle ;(

I mailed this out to him today so maybe it will make him write even just to ask how the dogs are doing....lol
