My son ia EOD. I talked tohis gf yesterday she has gottena little more info than I have (smart boy!). He told her they pulled al his wisdom teeth and he was pretty miserable, but that was way back in the beginning. I'm kinda glad I didn't know :)

Welcome, my son is EOD as well.  I'm sure when the get out of bootcamp and head to dive prep we'll be keeping each other up to date.

Hi, I talked to my son yesterday; they did do the Gas. He said it wasn't that bad and not for very long!!!

Congrats on being able to talk to your son. My SR's girlfriend got the call since it was her birthday. She was so excited. She said they are all doing good so let's hope we get the call soon.

Will the air rescue swimmers be flown to Pensacola the morning after graduation?

I've been told they usually do but since its a holiday weekend no one knows for sure.

I realized it was a holiday weekend, but I didn't think about it delaying the departure day. My SR wrote that he and half his div would leave Sat for P'cola. Whether that's good info or not I'm not sure. We haven't gotten a letter in over a week so don't have any current info. :) wouldn't it be great if we had an extra day with them? :)

Yes it would, but based on my luck, my SR will be one of the ones leaving on Saturday lol.

Just printed out the parking pass!  Yea!!!!!  10 days left ladies.  Big week for our SR's....can't wait to get a call, that cell phone of mine will be surgically attached to my person.   Have a great week.

I'm in two days of meetings.  I already told the facilitor, that I'm keeping my phone on and the volume up and if he sees me jump up and run out he'll know why.

Just printed out my gate pass for PIR!!  Cannot wait to get there!  Have a happy day everyone!! :)

Gentle reminder ladies! Please do not post a day or date for Battle Stations. If you have done so, please delete your post.

This is considered ship movement in BC so not allowed per OPSEC.

Thanks ladies!!
