Hi RobynS

This is my son's ship # and Div too.  He left for BC Aug 13th.  I guesstimated PIR to be 10/12.  It is  Oct 5th that would be could and it would mean his division is the "push" division.  Which would mean he would be in BC the least amount of time possible.  So excited.  Still waiting on my form letter.  Let me know if you get yours

Allison

PIR will be on October 12 just received my form letter today my son left on August 13. : )
Ship 9 Div 327. Anyone else???

no letter - just checked mailbox.  But this is my sons ship 9 and div so our PIR has to be same date - yippee.  So excited I don't know what to do first - book flights, book hotel, get dinner ready - celebrate with a glass of wine - hhmmmmm let me think rationally here - yes cheers to October 12th!  Thanks for the posting Ms.wanda

Woo-Hoo finally a confirmation for 327. Thanks ms. wanda!!!!

Here is the link for your PIR, come join the group.

PIR: Oct 12, 2012

The recruiter said my daughters are in this division. Is this a co-ed division if that exists or perhaps my daughters aren't in this division after all - frustrating not hearing from them!! And they left 8/8.. The RTC has a slew of mis-addressed mail arriving if this is the case.

It will probably be what they call a brother division - girls in one and guys in the other.  They all train together and school but have sep barracks to sleep and showers. - Well I'm assuming they do as they've all been warned no fraternization.  I warned my son to not even look in the direction of a girl while he's in there :)

I'm a Ship 09/ Div 327 Mom also! Wow Ladies-Are you all ready to see your children come Oct 12??!!!

I can't wait, I have a countdown clock on my I-Phone that as of today shows 27 Days/17 Hours/9 Mins/and 48...sec's!!!

That is the minute they open the gates at RDC at 6:30 am!! I share the countdown with my son each letter I send. Last Thursday Sep 6th was the first phone call home, I'm hoping you all received your call as well. As soon as I heard his voice we both cried and said I miss you! :) My son's nickname is Vamp if any of your boys have made friends with him. Any of your boys headed to A-School in Pensacola-this is where my son will be headed after graduation. Some of his friends he has made are going there as well. As a mother this makes you feel better knowing that he now knows someone when he heads to a new place again. How scary that was for him and I missed that first phone call when he arrived that night.

Today they have PFA and if they all pass he said they get an extra phone call. So he said he has been working very hard to make sure that happens. If not, its letters and a final call after Battle Stations!

Best Luck ladies to you and your Navy Recruits!

See you at Graduation!

Brenda
