Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 319 & 320. These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the main wall to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

I'll see if I can figure out that friend request and get back to you with it

OK, when I worte to Kyle today I told him Axel is staying in GL for enginman A school.  Was up to 3 am  on the chat list for ship 11. someone said in a letter from her SR she learned all in  division 319, except one, have passed the swim test.

Today is letter day in Florida. They write on Sunday and the mail goes out on Monday/ 3 days to FL....so I am watching for my 2nd letter day.  My letter #31 is in the mailbox to go out to him.

I made reservation ar Navy Lodge too, Oct 4 thru 6, We will stay til Sunday. 4 of us flying up from Florida. My SR is also 11/319 Kyle

According to some on the list who are 'in the know' the new sailors who graduate on the 5th will also have

liberty on the weekend, 6 and 7, but will have to stand some watches during that time also. I think we are not

allowed back on base after Friday, but he can come to the gate to meet us.

someoe posted online that the STAND DOWN dates for Christmas break for all A schools at GL will be Dec 21 -Jan7. They can go home then. Unofficial dates until the CCO signs it so don't buy airfare yet.

ipeterson55,  I am so sorry that your sons letter sounded down. My son is in the same group.  He didn't mention about some being sick.  He sounded like he is enjoying it.  I hope that when your son gets better it will go better for him.

I've yet to see anyone in div 320! I'm beginning to think Preston is the only one in it lol

My son is in Div 320 too!  His name is Benjamin.  Have you received a letter?  We haven't gotten anything other than the form letter.  Very proud of him but anxious too:)

My son is also in Div 320! I Have received both a hand written and a form letter. But I haven't gotten a phone call. I miss him so much and cant wait to hear from him. I am very Proud of him

My son Gerritt is also in 320.  We came in from NJ on the AMTRAK Cardinal.  27 hour train ride thru MD VA WVA  ID KY OH IL! Quite an adventure.  We can't wait to see our Expert Marksman tomorrow morning!

Got my first real letter today in the mail :):):)   He sounds really good and upbeat, cannot wait to hug his neck on Oct 5th.
