For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

That's okay, I wasn't sure if mine was going to be into writing either, but turns out its all he looks forward too! Guys are funny like that!
He also mentioned a few other friends he's met there, if they belong to you, mention NIck in your letters! They'll get a good laugh, or so I'm told!

I got a letter today too! It was a good day! So glad to see that while it's tough he still has a sense of humor about it. I feel sooo much better.

Those few lines make all the difference in the world, don't they? My daughter drew her little whale that she always likes to draw. It makes the countdown to PIR seem a little bit shorter. :)

I'm so ecstatic! We had five letters in the mail yesterday! He wrote to his dad, his brother, me, and 2 letters to all of us. He says it's tough, but he's surviving. I'm counting down the days now to graduation. Now just waiting on the phone call that will last more that 2 minutes!

Andra**2sailorboys** My husband is Div 316.
For those of you with SR's in Div 316: My mother in law called this morning to say that my husband had written her a letter and said to tell me that if all goes well and they pass a test he will be calling me on Aug 27th around 10:30 AM CST. I am assuming the Division gets to call together, so we might be getting calls on Monday, ladies!

Got my call Monday too! I heard it was prompted bc of the hurricane we got here in Florida (which was not bad) so they can contact family to check on their safety -Girlfriend of SR Vasaitis, ship 03 div 316! <3

I still have not heard a word from my daughter. I thought for sure we would have a letter Saturday. I could not wait to get home from work and run to the mail box. Nothing. Maybe she hates me.
