For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

I have question My son PIR date is 9/07 .we are 18 hours away in texas .my son wrote me and told me that he has to leave out that afternoon when he graduates .His a school is here in texas. Will me and my family be aloud to drive up to see him at school and since its so much closer ? Will he have liberty the weekend after he graduates ? PLease help me so we can plan to see our son. Thank you for all your help .

I would love to see him .I was hoping that I could go up and at least get the afternoon with him .And I was hoping maybe if he had liberty we could see him the day after .but I hear that can't happen either .so we will end up making the trip up there one way or the other I will see my son :)

Good afternoon my son rating is a seabea (utilityman) and he wrote me saying that he may only have a couple of hours before he leaves out . And by what your saying if he gets to his school be 3pm he'll have till 10pm of liberty ? and if thats so is it possible to see him during that time ? or just in great lakes after PIR

YES ! I feel very blessed he is my oldest but only son and we are very proud of him . I can also say its been pretty ruff on the emotional part also . I cant remember where to get the parking pass can you please remind me one more time because I get to print it tomorrow :)
