Good Morning Ladies! Hope you all are doing a little better today.I had a bad night lastnight just seemed like EVERYTHING I seen reminded me of him.I told my husband I think once I get a letter or hear his voice and I kñow he is ok I will then be better with him being gone.I just miss him so much! Even when he would go on vacation with his buds I still got a text everyday.Im SOOO looking forward to Oct. Well my mail has come and NO BOX today :( Maybe tomorrow!
I keep wanting to call Kevin...he was such a help, even with his senior year, playing & reffing soccer, and everything else, he spent lot of time with his older brother who is in a wheelchair (paralyzed from a gunshot) and helped us out. Kevin's younger brother misses him too, even though they had the sibling rivalry thing going on!!
Hi Debbie...I too wish I could talk or just text Brandon..Hopefully very soon we all will get to hear our kids beautiful voices! Im also so sorry to hear about your oldest son. I know he really misses his brother too.
I did get his box!! It was on my porch..Bittersweet!!
Im sorry! Mine came fed ex. They didnt even ring the doorbell!
Hi Ladies, I have a KYLE too. He also left on Tuesday, August 21..We live only 35 miles away from the base, but it may as well be in Alaska as far as I'm concerned. I miss him so much. I got his Box yesterday.. That just about broke me. Now i guess we wait for this form letter they have been talking so much about. My name is Janet by the way. I also look forward to getting to know all of you over the next 8 weeks.. hopefully are boys/girls will all lean on one another as well. I pray for each of our children that they are safe and they thrive through this experience.
Hi Janet! I hard a hard time with the box also!! I really hope the letter comes soon. Its driving me crazy!! I know from my husbands experience they will lean on each other... I miss my Kyle :( Good name btw!! Anyone on facebook?
i'm on Facebook i'm just not sure what that whole link thing is for anyone to find me... I'm so dumb my son says.. i can find other people tho.
My son left on 8/21 - got the call at 8p on 8/22. He sounded good, but a bit tired. I am sure glad he took his cell as he was allowed to use it to call me. I started writing my letters, so I can send them off when I get the form letter with the address. His cat, who had retreated to the basement 8 months ago when we got a dog, came up to his second floor bedroom and has been sleeping on his bed ;-( - Now, in anticipation of graduation, I need to make airline reservations and hotel reservations. Any ideas for hotels in the area?
