For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 319 & 320. These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

We all got letters today! So his sister, girlfriend and I have been comparing notes and got a pretty good idea of how he's doing:) He had to have two wisdom teeth removed but seems to have bounced back okay. The swim test went well and he's concerned about pt but I think that's pretty normal. Very relieved to hear from him and want to thank all of you for your support!

My son is on the same ship/division as yours and I have only rcv'd the one letter, too. It is very discouraging. It makes the days drag by so slowly.

I know exactly how you feel and I was actually shocked when my first letter from Preston was positive. I was prepared for the worst! The next one may be different....all we can do is pray them through this, expect the ups & downs & continue to send positive support to them. It's hard - very hard. Hang in there!

Im sorry your sad today. I feel bad too when i read that another kid got to call home ni havent goten a call yet. N whie my sons lettrr to us was pisitive the one he wrote to his friends wasnt. So while i really dont know if's going good or not. I will choose to beleive that he will be fine n make it through i know it's not a picnic n they are surly working our kids vety hard. I also know that they will be better for the experience in the long run.

My son's wasn't that positive. He said he cried himself to sleep everynight the first week. He questioned why he was doing this. He was very homesick. Soul-sucking homesick. And he is not one I would ever have thought that would happen to. He is not an emotional person, at all, so it was very surprising. The only positive thing in his letter was that the food was great. But then, I am thinking to myself, well that's great. This means the Navy cooks better than his mom?

No call here either. We were traveling today from Nevada and I made my husband take the long way home thru Lake Tahoe cause I knew I had cell phone service all the way. I was afraid our son woould call and we wouldn't have service on the other routes! I just may go crazy, or drive everyone else in my family crazy just waiting for this first phone call to come.

I received letters from my SR and I am so sad because they are really depressing. He just wants to quit and come home if I could just talk to him I think he would feel so much better. I am going crazy waiting for my phone call, he said thier off day is Sunday but I did not get a call yesterday. Did anyone get a call from thier SR yesterday?
