Eventually I haven't really been thinking too much about my baby leaving.
1. Because we have 2 trips to go on and then I'll start school
2. It's the weekend after school starts (august 27th he leaves).
BUT tonight idk what it is but it just really caught me that it is getting closer
I've been crying all night. After reading some of these post honestly it frightens me
BUT i know that me and my boyfriend have something strong that nothing could break down.
I think I need to find my inner strength ahead of time because ITS AROUND THE CORNER.
I'm scared, sad, emotional, and trying not to think as much.
I wish I had a best friend who was going through the same exact stuff i was but nobody is.
GOSH this is going to be hard :'(
I CAN'T GO A DAY WITHOUT TALKING TO HIM :(

Trust me, I was a wreck the entire two weeks before my boyfriend left, I cried every single night! I tried not to cry in front of him though, we both knew that it was coming and really wanted to enjoy our last few weeks together instead of being an emotional wreck. Not crying in front of him does make those last few weeks easier not only on you but your SR as well. When I first came to this site I was scared by some of the things I read, but my boyfriend has been gone for almost three weeks (left 7/2) and I am counting down the days until I can see him again! You realize how strong you are at the airport when you say goodbye, you learn that you have to be strong for them and show them as much support as possible so they can make it through boot camp!! I still haven't received a letter yet, but mom's and other girlfriends in his PIR (graduation date) have started receiving them this week, really hoping I get one next week to see how he is doing! It does get better, I promise!
thank you so much. It really helps reading others stories about it all. I plan on writing him down with letters.
It's hard. I'm not gonna lie. I wasn't with my boyfriend for Boot Camp/A School ( we were only friends at that time ) so I can't relate there, but I'm going through a deployment right now, halfway through, and it sucks. It really, really sucks. But if you know you have something strong, then you have nothing to worry about. Just communicate when you can, make sure he knows how much you are thinking about him, don't get upset when you can't talk to him (because it's the nature of the beast. I've gone 2 weeks without talking to my boyfriend but I know it's part of it!). Hang in there!!
thanks. it was hard saying goodbye yesterday. He also called me from his cell today saying his last goodbye and telling me he'll never forget about us and our 1 year will be aug. 31st and he'll ALWAYS love me that's why he gave me the promise ring :) i am proud of him its just a hard, long journey. thanks for the help.
