When I talked to my SR yesterday Ship 13 Div 313, he said probably wouldn't be calling for another 2 weeks.
Thanks for the update. We should all have a great weekend after speaking to our children. Keep praying that our division gets stronger.
I have been writing letters to other recruits off of the Calls for recruits list on FB. Do we know if there are any recruits in our division that are not getting letters? I sit on conference calls for a large part of my day and have time to write a few extra if we know of anyone that needs a few letters. :)
Thanks!
I am not on Facebook but am definitely willing to write to recruits. If someone can get some names to me, I definitely would feel honored to send encouragement to our recruits
Yayness! Just received a letter from my SR. DIV 13 not doing so good! They need to pull it together and do well on two important inspections on Fri. They are taking a lot of hits on their inspections with a lot of "Beats" as he put it. I sure hope they can pull together as a team and do very well on Fri. My prayers are going out to them! On a positive note, they are doing lots of marching practice in the drill hall for graduation and he says "Mom, we are going to look Good". If anyone else has any other news about the division, please post. Have a good evening :D
No news about our division, but what does "Beats" mean?
They call it "Beating" but it is actually IT (individual training)~aka hard core physical exercise.
Thank you, this is all new to me. I have a lot to learn.
Thanks for the update! I haven't heard any more since my SR called last Thursday, and he had said basically the same thing - that they weren't doing well on inspections and felt like they needed to work better together as a group/team to get things where they need to be. Hopefully they will get it together soon!!! I'm glad their marching practice is going well. I'm hoping I get a letter tomorrow. My last one was last Thursday. They are halfway through tomorrow!!! :-)
I know, it is so exciting. My SR did say that it is going by very fast. I am praying for them to have a good inspection on Fri. Can't get it off my mind.
Got another letter today. My sailor says the time is going by fast. Said he got into some trouble because he was on watch and 1 person did not do their ironing. So it was his fault. He seemed ok with it. Joked about ironing, folding his clothes, and re folding his clothes! Also said he can sew too! He said the division is pretty strong. He always seems positive!
