Welcome to the discussion group for division 947.
Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the main wall to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

You and me both! I actually missed the initial phone call, so all I had was a voice mail. Guess I have to remember to have it on me even when I visit the restroom at work.....Lol!! My son is coming up on three weeks at bootcamp, from what I have read, a call should be coming soon...anxiously waiting!
He has A school in Great Lakes. AECF. So hopefully my son and I can move out with him soon after boot camp and we should be there for a decent amount of time. But like most military things, nothing is set in stone lol
My SR is going to Pensacola, Florida for Air crew training. Unfortunately this is half way across the country from where we live in Nebraska!
Still no letters or phone calls, but hoping we get something soon!
Anyone have any idea how many SR's are in the 947 division??
My son is going to Pensacola also. He is going for Aviation Technical Support. He is hoping to get into the Aviation Rescue Swimming, not to be confused with the SEALS. I haven't heard from him other than the initial phone call & informational letter. Expecting some sort of contact this week! Are you going to graduation?
Mine is going to Pensacola Florida for Aviaiton Technical Support(AVS). Kinda glad he isn't there now with the hurricane coming through.
Hello there!! I got a call from my husband today! It was only 1-2 minutes long and i'm pretty sure he was only able to call because of a situation we had going on here at home but it was still FANTASTIC to hear from him. He said he'd been getting all my letters and was recently able to write one home to me. So hopefully this week you all get your highly anticipated letters too!! Then we can all compare notes and see how much information we can get if we put together all their stories lol : )
Whoot Whoot!!!!!!! My parents just called and they received a letter from their grandson (my son, lol). They live in Arkansas and I live 1hr 15min south in Louisiana. I hope I have mail at noon. So all 947 be stalking the mail man. It's an awesome day! Oh he said that they had 1 hr for phone calls but its down to 47mins because some were getting in trouble, ha (not studying). I will have more when I get a letter. Can't wait may have to drive around town to find the mail lady.
My son is also in this Div. We just got his first letter today. He seems to be doing well and has made a best friend. My son will be going to Pansacola Florida for Aviation Electronic Tech (AT).
Happy you got a letter. My parents in Arkansas did too. We're hoping for tomorrow's mail. We are from Louisiana.
