In my feelings as always, but I prefer them out than in....Today, I've learned that my actions speak louder than words. I've learned what it mean to love someone unconditionally, to be good mate and how incredible hard it can be sometimes. I've learned you have to give yourself completely with honesty and compassion. This only took me 4 years and 9 months to realize.

My SR is currently in BC, and this is her 2nd week. Her PIR is 10/12/12, and I have only received "The Box" and "Form Letter". I am waiting on personal letter or a phone call from her. This is the longest time we have been apart without communicating. I feel so lost without her, and not to mention I had surgery on the 10/10/12 before she left and is on disability for six weeks. So all I am doing is sitting around waiting on time to pass by, and missing my SR. You know they say "You never know what you have until they are gone", well I miss what I have, I miss having her around the house, I miss are late night conversations, I miss her laugh, I miss my partner, my spouse, and my best friend, I just miss my SR :-(

You are right, it wont be right until she is here with us! But until then I will settle for a phone call, and a letter :-)

I know exactly how you feel! My sailor is on a 9 month deployment and it's driving me crazy! We have great communication but now I hear from her every 3-4 days :(.. N I know about those late night convos! Keep positive and busy!!!!

thanks

LaSue, I know exactly what you're talking about....I mean...we all know!

It's harder than I could imagine!

In 8 years of marriage, it's the first time that my husband and I've been apart...I miss him so much.

He is more than husband...he's my BF, partner, everything.

I have more 6 Fridays to go... and I only think about it, about the trip to Chicago, about graduation...

What really helps me, is to write him, every single night. We use talk before going to bed, so I pretend he is here and I start writing about my day! It's like therapy...

I hope you feel better with our support!

Keep strong, and as Lacey741 said here...keep busy and positive!!!

@ Lacey, I am going to remain positive and try to stay busy with are little one. However, I am on restriction until I get release from the doctor, and maybe my days will go by faster.

@ Dany, I thought I was the only writing letter as if I was talking to my partner. I think is the only thing that is keeping me together. I am counting down right with you, I am so excited for 10/12/12, I don't know what to do with myself. I really appreciate all the support you all offer on this website, I think I would be in the Crazy house by now, if it wasn't for this website!

I'm curious to know if you have gotten any letters yet!? my boyfriend's PIR date is the same and i am so anxious! i have been writing him every day but this whole process just isnt easy. I'm used to being with my bf every day and we have never gone this long without talking either! i cant believe its been 2 weeks! cant wait till graduation! hang in there!

No, I haven't received anything from her. No letter or phone call from my SR. I understand how you feel, this is the longest my partner and I have been without each other. I pray that we all hear something from are SR very soon (like tomorrow), but until then continue to write, and stay strong and positive! If you need to talk you can always talk or vent to or with me :-) this website is breath of fresh air!
