So my boyfriend is on week four which I've heard is hell week which is going to make them more busy. Will they still be able to send out mail at the end of the week? That's if they even have enough time to write throughout the week.

Also, for graduation depending on the weather how do we dress? Is it more of a casual event, semi-formal or formal? I don't want to be dressed differently then everyone else.

Thanks.

Hell week, they can send mail, but he will be exhausted, Be there for your guy, if they do well, their RDCs may treat them with phone privileges. That's a big maybe! Send extra cards/notes/prayers and thoughts his way. Those are long days!

At graduation, there are people in all types of clothes. Wear something that you know your sailor will love - you will be a sight! Something you will feel comfortable in. The waiting time in the drill hall is about 3 hours (if you get there early) and graduation is about an hour. You will be doing some walking! I saw a lot of sun dresses, button down shirts - no suits or anything, but semi-formal. Something you want your picture taken in! Because you will be taking lots of pictures!

My best advice - don't wear shoes that are uncomfortable and make it hard for you to walk fast. When you spot your sailor, you will want to run! :)

Thank you. Also, is graduation outside or in the building??

It is inside. You may take pictures inside this building only. None outside. They air conditioned it well. You may want to bring a jacket!

That helps a lot. Thanks!

One more thing, you mentioned they may be able to get a phone call from hell week. So even though my bf just called Tuesday this past week he still might be able to get another so soon?

MAYBE on the phone call. Don't get your hopes up & don't expect it. They don't earn one for getting through hell week.

yep, a big maybe. I don't want to get your hopes up. Just keep your phone on you and don't stress over it.

No worries, no hopes up lol. I've been surviving on letters and I got a little less then a month to go so I'll be good. Thank you both
