Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 819 & 820. It only happens a few times a year when there are two special ops groups in one TG.
Please be very aware when posting about your SRs who are in one of these divisions. Although they are still in BC, what they are doing may be slightly different from what the other division are doing. Make sure you read the OPSEC rules (everyone should).

Thank you...good to know. It just said that Flanagan's ended later so thought that made sense to try for that one. What kind of info do they give you anyway?
I was thinking about Sarge's, too. The info I read about it just sounds interesting. It will be nice to meet some of you. My son said his friends are talking about "the moms" being on this website. They seem to approve!
Hey Delta, I told my son about the moms talking. I think its cool. I was doing Flannagans I really haven't heard anything about any of them. Wonder if we could do both Flannagans and Sarges. I wish they would have 1 so everybody could meet.
A month without hearing my son's voice. I sure thought that call would come today. Am I the last mom standing without a call??? Booking our flight tomorrow - getting in early on Thursday - that Friday morning will not be here soon enough!!!
His he working out with 820?
hopsoncrew -- I am not a mom so I can't even begin to understand this from your point of view but just wanted to let you know I haven't received a phone call from 820 yet either. Was thinking there may be an explanation for that in his most recent letter but nada although he did say they aren't getting yelled at as much any more :)
I have had one call besides my I"M here call. I don't all of 820 got to call home. This sure is hard on a mom not hearing from her son for weeks at a time. I guess I better get use to it. I have gotten 3 letters so that does help.
We do have to get use to not hearing from the guys. I have heard from my son (820) and he says they are all well. I know that doesn't help you if you haven't heard from your son, but I hope it does ease your minds a little if you still haven't heard.
I don't think they get much phone time because my son only called once. He said he was going to call this week. He did say that their phone time is cut according to their performance.
He also said that they ate the physical working out up! We raised some tough young men.
Only a few more weeks!
Hey Delta, that makes me feel better. I am hoping for a call soon. He did call 2 weeks ago on my birthday, God does work I prayed he would call then and he did. Was hell week last week? I did get a letter Friday but it was short.
Hello Everyone,
Great site and discussion groups for a newbie navy mom. Thanks for all the info and advice. I also have a son in 819 and would love to meet some of the families at Flanagans. We arrive at 6:40am at O'hare, hope we can make it in time also. Depends if we move fast through the car rental line. Can't wait for graduation, can we take pics? Is there pics we can purchase? Thanks J
