I do! I do! Just got the letter today! So excited. I have been pacing waiting for this letter.
(SHIP 14 DIV 343). I AM SO EXCITED!!! I GOT MY LETTER TODAY TOO!!! :)

Do either of you have any clue what we do from here?  I am a real novice at this & have no idea what I am suppose to do.  I have no recent people who have been in the military so I need any help you can provide. LOL

Write...keep writing...write every day. Write about anything and everything. You are their life line to the outside world. It is like fasting...they have nothing and no concept of what is going on.

I can easily fill the front and back of a piece of paper just by babbling. Soon, they will be able to write too. Hang in there.

I just finished writing a letter to my boy. I'm going to include paper and an stamped envelope to make writing back easier for him. Ask everyone you know to write to him. I've started trying to sort through plans for the PIR. We have more than the 4 to bring up with so I'm praying they can all get in. I know we are going to drive up so we have lots of flexibility. Tell me about your SR. We have to stick together!

I just wanted to let you guys know I heard from my kid today!  He had to call because he needed 2 personal references for the CTR thing he is going in for.  Wow was so awesome to hear him.  He sounded like crap because he has been sick (they gave him meds) but his spirits were up so that was nice to hear.  He said the division he is in works well together & said something about Hall of Fame but I wasn't really paying attention (in shock because wasn't expecting a call. LOL) so I can't really tell you what that meant.  I hope you guys get lucky too!
