My daughter is the same unit (ship 9 div 287) she's heading to Pensacola

I'm new to this chat site... My son is on ship 9 Div287.. I can't wait for Friday.. Is anyone going to the meet and greets anywhere. I was wondering which one to attend?

Sarges I heard is the best, I'm going to that one.

i'll be at Sarge's  Meet and Greet.

Lala!!  First time I've gotten on the computer.  I got the ribbon today and its BEAUTIFUL, I love it.  Thank you so much!!

Can you tell me where to get a ribbon? I will be at Sarge's Meet and greet and if we are trying to recognize each other by the ribbon, I would like to try and get one.

Thanks

I'm crossing my fingers my hubby leaves on Sunday so his dad and I can have friday, some of saturday(his dad leaves saturday) and i'll get the rest.

first though, We need that call!!!

Div 288 just finished BattleStations. I got my call at about 4:00pm. He said it was fun and easier than he thought it would be but he is very tired. They have been up since 5:00 am yesterday and can't go to sleep until 8:00pm tonight. He sounded half asleep on the phone. He was telling me about his bunkmate from Indiana who also has A school at Great Lakes, his initials are N.F., so hello to his mom!

Got the call from my daughter div 287 ship 9 received all of their flags no problem!!! She's a sailor and it was wonderful to hear her voice.  She is super excited gave me a whole list of what she wants to do with our two days together.  She ships to A school early Sunday morning like 12:30 am so i am happy to say I get to see her twice at least ... and I have made my reservations in Pensecola for Thanksgiving so things are looking up and I am a happy PROUD NAVY MOM!!  One down one more to go .. I just have to do this one more time in March and hopefully that will be a little easier for me than this rollercoaster.!  :)

My sailor called as well. So happy to heard from him!! Now, to stop procrastinating!

I want 2 days with my SR but I'll take what I can get. Sooooooo planned to bring him home since I fell Unger the 50 miles
