Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 333 & 334. These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the main wall to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

They all look the same to me. I do love seeing the recruits 'daily' stuff. I helps me to feel close to my son. I miss him so much.

Me too :(

Hello everyone! I am hopeing to receive a letter or a call this week!  My fingers are crossed.  We are staying at the Navy Lodge for PIR is anyone else?

Hey there :)  my son is on the same ship and div - and we are staying at the Navy Lodge as well.  Have you received any letters?  I have gotten one, very short, but nevertheless was so excited to read each word 10 times.

No not any news as of yet. This has been a very long tree weeks. But i am sure that when i do hear something I will read it over and over.  Where is your Sr going after basic

Hi Melissa, we are also staying at the Navy Lodge. It was a great rate and close to the base. We have made all of our reservations and waiting for their PIR. My SR sent a letter to his mother and GF. Guess I am at the bottom of the letter list. LOL!

His father and step mom got one I amd just waiting on mine. But i am patient. But still am beginning to stalk the mailman. lol

I know how you feel about the mail. I kept thinking they would let him call because in his 1st call home he said he would call in 2 weeks, sure. I told him to call on my cell but no, he called home and I had to hear it on the machine. Hey but at least I can hear his voice if I want :) I even went so far as to change the message on my phone this past weekend to remind him to call my cell. Oh well. I only got 1 call from my older son on Thanksgiving when he went through AF basic last year and no letters. He's married and of course she got them and filled us in.

Our family is staying at the Gateway Inn. It's on the base, but I hope to see everyone at the Meet and Greet, the Thursday night before. Anyone hear how long we might get to spend with our men that weekend. I want to spend as much time as I can with him before he leaves for A school.

Looking forward to my second letter. It's so 'old school' but I love waiting and I'm going to save these letters forever. Can't do that with a text message- okay you can, but you know what I mean.

Three weeks today and counting...... keep my phone on my hip and on my bed stand at night.  This house just isn't the same without him here!  Cannot wait to talk to him on the phone.  His letter sounded great and he said the food was awesome!  Way to my boy's heart!!!!  Would love to meet everyone at PIR, we are staying at the Navy Lodge.  Thinking of the Sarge's meet and greet as well?!?!?!  You guys are amazing in lifting my spirits!!!

Did your son say he would call you?? I didn't think they could for a bit longer??? My son said the food was decent and since he had a rack to sleep on he was happy! Lots on folding clothes though. He hates that the most.

Brandon said on his "I'm here" call, that he would probably call in about 3 weeks, that would be next week.  I keep it handy just in case.  LOL on the folding clothes thing, mine is the same way.  Brandon said the food was pretty good, hopefully he will put on a few pounds!
