Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 337 & 338. These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the main wall to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Hi Everyone -

How ya'll doing? I have just finished my 8th or 9th letter to my kid. Yeah, miss him slightly LOL. I sure hope to hear from him soon. It gets tough because him and I have shared so much about actually getting into the Navy lol. He's wanted this since he was 15 and we have sat side by side reading website on different rates, practice ASVAB tests, watched RTC videos and ANYTHING on the Military Channel that caught his interest LOL. I even used to make him do push-ups if he "forgot" to do a chore or homework assignment heehee. So, I'm just really really anxious to hear how it's all going ya know.

Take care and praying we all get letters soon.

Kellee

Hey everyone hope y’all are doing well!! Kellee I definitely know how you are feeling!! So today I got home from work at 8pm. I opened my mailbox, took out the mail and my heart stopped. There was a letter with Nathans handwriting on it. My initial feeling was elation!! However, my elation was quickly dashed by my observation of the thickness of the letter, too thick to be a written letter from Nathan. And it wasn’t. It was my military ID forms to fill out. Don’t get me wrong I was happy to get them so I can obtain my ID…but it wasn’t a letter from him =( But hopefully we get our letters sometime this week!! Keep thinking positively and our spirits will be lifted!

That's so funny...can't wait to hear about it! Lol!

Still no letter waiting in my mailbox so I am still stalking the mailman. My son is Tristan. He is 6'3, with blond hair and hazel eyes. Mom is Suzette. He is 18 and just graduated hs this year. He is undesignated and will be going to A school in GL. Hopefully we will get those anxiously awaited letters this week.

Hey Suzette, my son Kevin is in the same div...also 18 & graduated in June! It sounds like there are a lot of great guys in our sons' division & their brother division! I have a feeling we'll hear from them soon!

Debbie T and Heidemarie -

I will be sure to share what happens with the care package LOL. And to top it off, my husband was helping little sister write a letter to Nick. She used a PINK ink pen - because well, its her favorite color. Hubby addressed the envelope for her WITH THE PINK INK PEN!!!!! Omgeez.....Nick is sure gonna be a favorite with the RDC's LOL

Hoping we all get letters this week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hang in there ladies...we only have 30 something days left =o)

Still no letter from Josh....anyone get a call or letter today ? Nancy

Hey Everyone, I finally got a letter! It was fairly short, but how sweet it is! It sounds like he has a friend named Ritchie...that they're calling "Bigfoot" cause his left foot is swollen! Does that ring any bells for anyone?! Says it's hard to get good sleep, but he's had a few good nights. Kevin even misses his younger brother! : ) I'm sure you'll all get letters now!! Woo hoo!

Hi Margaret!! Kevin said that Bigfoot, or Ritchie taught him how to polish his boots! I was assuming that Ritchie is a first name...forgot that they call everyone by last names! Lol!  Kevin will be going to Pensacola also. Where are you staying? We're at the Navy Lodge & going to Sarge's Meet & Greet Thursday night. I'll definitely let you know if Kevin mentions him again (I'm thinking they're bunkmates mybe??) and look for you in October!!

Im in 7th heaven today as I got my first call from hubby and later when I got the mail I got 4 letters from him...

Denise my son is going to A school in Pensacola also.
So happy that two of you got letters today. We didn't but like heidemarie says Friday is looking good. I had a surgery today and was hopeful that a letter would be here. My son sounds a bit like navy wife's hubby and not really into writing grrrr. This site is so helpful! I am also at navy lodge and RSVP d to surges meet and greet. My other son Matthew is at school in Illinois at Bradley univ so we are thinking of flying into Peoria and renting car and picking him up for PIR. We would also get to see his living arrangements. 5 or 6 people in one house?!? 4 boys and 2 girls supposedly all platonic anyone believe that? Lol. Have a good night nancy
