Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 333 & 334. These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the main wall to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

I got a call too..... I am sooooo happy!  We talked for a bit, he got to call his brother and his dad at work too!  I cried like a baby.  He sounded great but really tired!!!  Congrats on your call!!

Whooooohooooo!!!!! I got a call from my son too!  I almost thought I wasn't gonna get to talk to him because I missed the call because I was in the grocery store, but his stepmom called me to tell me to answer my phone that he was going to be calling me again.....I was so sad at first, when I saw the missed call and it was from area code 847, cause I knew it had to be him calling me.  I felt like there was so much that I wanted to ask and not enough time to do it in.  But it was really nice to hear from him. He said that he was good and it isn't that bad.  He did have his wisdom teeth pulled the other day but he said it wasn't that bad.  I could hear it in is voice that he sounded sad but he kept telling me that he was ok.  I can't wait until October 12th to see him!

I hope you all get calls today too!

Dawn

When I saw the caller id say payphone, I got all excited and I forgot everything I wanted to ask. He also sounded tired but said he was okay. It was funny when I said, "Wow it's almost 2 and you're calling me." It took him a bit to realize the time difference between him and us on the west coast. It sure was good to hear his voice. I can't wait till the 12th! ;)

WAHOOOOOOOO!!!  I did too!  I cried like a baby.....He said he missed us a lot, but was doing ok!  He said he was ok and having a lot of medical done for sub duty!  So glad you got the call Dawn,,,, happy Moms today!!!

Thank you Brandon'sMom94!  And yes Happy MOM's day to every Mom who rec'd a call today from their son and daughter!  And also a happy day to all the wives and girlfriends that rec'd calls today too!  Now just 30 more days to go....I can't wait!!!!!

Just made reservations at the Ramada. A friend stayed there for her son's PIR and said it was good. So I don't know if I'll see any of you at the meet and greet. There is one at this hotel. We are suppose to be getting a car and maybe if the others are close by?

Is the Meet and Greet at the Ramada Inn Thursday evening??

There are three meet and greets on Thursday. Ramada, Sarge's and Flanagan’s. We picked Sarge's from recommendations of other Moms.  They are all listed on the PIR 10-12-12 group at the top in yellow letters.

I think we are going to Sarge's too!

We got our call today- Justin called his girl and talked to her, then about 30 second call to the house and my husband got that one. I was working and he didn't have time for one more call. My husband said he sounds very mature and matter of fact. He is a section leader (whatever that means), He is on watch a lot and gets very little sleep. He got his dress blues and dress whites and he even said he likes how he looks in them. He says he knows he is building endurance because a lot of things are starting to get easier.

He said they might be able to have another call a few weeks before PIR. Glad everyone got their phone calls, I just had to pass on what Justin said second hand, I can't wait for 10/12/12

Did anyone from 14-333/334 that got a call ask what week/day they are on? That three minutes went by so fast I didn't ask any of the questions I really wanted answers to. :-/

Based on the letter I got last week, they should be on week 3 day 1.
