Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hello.  I'm the mom of an SR in this division.  Anyone on here have children in the same division?  This is my second experience with the military.  My son is a Marine.  My mom and I are planning our trip to Great Lakes and are just looking around on this site for helpful information and tips.  So far, we've found a ton of info!  You all are the best!  Anyway......thanks.

When i was talking to my son today, I was asking the questions like "did everyone pass", "who's on watch", and I told him it was so I could let my N4M and facebook group know. He said to me "Yeah, word's gotten around here about you and your facebook group."   
What does that mean??

My daughter was on Ship 12 Div 296. This website is so Awesome, she's in Fort Lee, VA A School CS. Sending you a friend request. Where is your sailor now?  My husband and I went to the Graduation, wish I join before I went. Very supportive site.

Your daughter would know my son LSSN Mat then. He was the Honorary Petty Officer and Yeomen for DIV 295/296. Mat is in Meridian MS for A school for Logistics Specialist. He will be stationed in San Diego, Ca to a Destroyer.  He is done with A school but they are keeping him in hold until the end of NOV.

Oh ok, I'm going to ask my daughter does she know your son. Nice I know you're proud of him. we all are proud of all our sailor.
