wow Denise that was fast he already in a div. My son left yesterday.

my sons recruiter contacted me by e-mail with the mailing info.......although I have read on here that sometimes the recruiters info is not accurate and I should compare it with the form letter I get in the mail.....and the ship and div could possibly change..........but I am still going to send a letter every day to the address the recruiter gave me and if it is wrong i will just get my letters back and resend them again.........LOL

Hi Deboraho.........my sons recruiter contacted me by e-mail the following day after my son left with the mailing address.

Hi Ann,

our boys are in the same division......just got the form letter from my SR yesterday.....and his box of belongings on Friday.....how about you?

Hi Ann and Denise my son is also on on the same Ship and Div. I got the box on Friday and received the letter on Monday... Happy to met you :)

Hi Angelica,

Great to hear from you.........I started a new group named Ship 013 Div 365 so hopefully we wil meet more loved ones there. :)

Hi Ann,

My son's buddy left for navy boot camp on 8/27 and he was able to write to me on 9/9 which is the second Sunday he was there.  So I am thinking yes our SR's will be able to write us today. He also called his mom and dad on 9/19 which was 3 weeks after he arrived, so hopefully our SR's will do the same.  I do not know any info about the divisions but if you find out let me know.

I feel your pain. My recruit arrived in Great Lakes on 9/5 and I've yet to even receive a form letter. Going absolutely crazy.

Quick tip on navigating the site. At the top of the page you will see "tabs". The "my page" tab takes you to just that your page. It will show you everything that you are discussing, groups you have joined etc.

When you click on the "groups" tab it will open a window for you that shows all the groups on this site. When you are on the groups page if you look just under the tabs you will see two links, one for all groups, the other says "my groups". Clicking on the "my groups" link will take you to a page that shows all of the groups you have joined. All links on that page are clickable.

Sounds complicated, it isn't :). Use it a couple times and click a few clicks you will be a pro!!!!
