DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Welcome to the discussion group for division 822.

Be very aware when posting about your SRs who are in this division. Make sure you read the OPSEC rules (everyone should).

sjtina and a couple more ladies will be joining you to answer your questions about this "800" division. Although your SR is still in BC, what they are doing may be slightly different from what the other divisions in this training group are doing. It is also recommended that you go into your "settings" (clickable link on the right side) and change your privacy setting to "private" and change everything to friends only.

Please still use the main wall to post general questions, and concerns, such as meet and greet questions etc. Specific questions regarding the 800 division should be posted here.

We “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like to, and the ladies helping out with the 800 divisions don't always get to the main wall as often as they would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there ladies!!!

Hi Everyone~

havent been on for a few days due to melting down lol I miss this boy like crazy!!!! Empty nest is sometimes the worst...I read that some have rescue swimmers in this division.  Am I reading correctly that they will be staying through Sunday??? We are suppose to leave early Sunday morning & I want to change our flights if this is the case!!! Please let me know what you have heard..Thanks!

What is Pre Buds?

Thanks Cor....my son is a rescue swimmer so is there a group for this anyone?? Im new to this site & havent found anything that is useable to my situation. We were told in the beginning we would have some of Saturday with him & he would be off to Pensicola Saturday...If anyone finds info or has info for the rescue swimmers please let me know & I will most definitely share if I find anything. :)

Thank you Cor!!! I just had a few minutes and have been catching up...I appreciate the information!!!

My husband likes to open my son's letters and then call me at work to read them to me.  He loves sharing that moment with me, but I'd really love to read them by myself first.  Finally hubby was out of town fishing so I left work early to hurry and get home to a letter from my son--and all I got was bills today.  Congrats to those who got letters.  Maybe tomorrow for me.

Hi ladies. My son is also an Air Rescue Swimmer Candidate. I stumbled upon this sight. I can't wait till PIR but am completely clueless on what to expect.

YAY!!! we got a letter today...

Short and sweet... He sounded better in this letter then the last few..

He said they went to church and it was really good..So glad he is doing a little better..

He was going to talk to the RDC about being on watch.. he said he really needs some sleep, he didnt know how much more can take of 2 to 3 hr sleep a night.. I hope that talk went good for him.... Say a prayer it didnt back fire on him..

My grandsons "Navy Guy" suit for His Bubba's PIR

I had to share..He wants to be just like his uncle..

Melray, that is too sweet. Even the stance. Too cute.

That's so cute!

What a sweet picture Melray - I may have to hunt one of those up for my grandson!

I have been packing and packing and packing - and I am maybe half finished.  Why oh why do I have so much stuff!  We were supposed to close on the house on Monday, but the mortgage company didn't send the final figures until Wednesday and then they were wrong.  We have things straightened out and are supposed to sign the paperwork tomorrow - so keep your fingers crossed that nothing else happens.

It has been a funky week.  The weather has been up and down, so my mood has been the same way.  We went from short sleeves and sandals on Tuesday to long sleeves, shoes, and jackets on Wednesday, then back again today.  Ah, gotta love the Midwest.  Hope everyone else had a good week and that the weekend makes up for the hole that this week seemed to be.
