DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Welcome to the discussion group for division 822.

Be very aware when posting about your SRs who are in this division. Make sure you read the OPSEC rules (everyone should).

sjtina and a couple more ladies will be joining you to answer your questions about this "800" division. Although your SR is still in BC, what they are doing may be slightly different from what the other divisions in this training group are doing. It is also recommended that you go into your "settings" (clickable link on the right side) and change your privacy setting to "private" and change everything to friends only.

Please still use the main wall to post general questions, and concerns, such as meet and greet questions etc. Specific questions regarding the 800 division should be posted here.

We “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like to, and the ladies helping out with the 800 divisions don't always get to the main wall as often as they would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there ladies!!!

I found it on the NEX web site..

I looked every where and no one sells Navy uniforms.

. My sons SWCC scout told me thats where he buys his sons mini uniforms..

My grandson is so excited to wear it when he sees his Bubba.. Thats all he talks about...

GM yall! Got a letter yesterday...well, it was the questionaire....he said bc is different than what the questions are asking....LOL! He mentioned names of his friends....of course he found one from NH...have no idea who that is.....anyone from NH? if yes, private message me.....Also said he had not ordered pictures, yearbook etc...I suspect pictures are next since they just got their dress blues finished up...

If you are a SWCC mom, I joined the SWCC group that Cor mentioned...great info out there!!! I am alson on the group headed for SWCC but the activity is far less there....

Ordered 2 challenge coins for graduation gifts, generic RTC Great Lakes and the Sailors Creed...they were delivered yesterday. Very nice!!! Next on the list is the division t-shirt....love surprises, NOT!!!

Hope everyone is getting letters. 27 Days!!!! 4 Fridays. ;)

I haven't joined yet but will.

I think it will be cold at graduation in October, so I'm bringing some sweaters.I also heard that we should bring some umbrellas just in case.

I hope we have a beautiful day

27 days 4 Fridays ,but who's counting lol.

Joanie,

Where did you get the challenge coins?

I need to get cases now...got some felt pouches to start. They are really nice!!!

I'm liking I Corinthians 16:13- that's my pray for our sailors!!!

RuthY I do the same thing I end every letter with a verse.. He said he likes that..

I also pray Psalms 91 over all our SR's everyday..

I will come in agreement in prayer with you that our SR's are able to complete whatever they are aproached with in BC...

Thanks for Psalm 91- I'll look that one up!!

God's word is so a comfort- Just prove that we aren't in charge. Our SRs are the palm of God's hands- keep praying!!

I received a letter today - though not from my SR, from his best friend who is currently in Boot Camp with the Army in GA.  He wrote it on waterproof paper as they were on early morning outdoor duty before breakfast.  He is such a great young man and told me he wanted to thank me for my letters because it was nice to know that people other than his family are proud of him and thinking of him.  =)

Now, if he can find the time to write, how come my SR can't?

Funny, I got a letter yesterday too, from my "other son" (my son's bff), who is in Army bootcamp. His letter was longer and more detailed than any I have gotten from my boy. They even get "passes" and free time. I was shocked at the difference in BC. Cor hit the nail on the head, Army vs Navy...nuff said. LOL!!!

I have taken out stock in Puff's since I am going thru them like crazy. LOL!!

Hi Joanie. Saw this post and it made me laugh.  Puff Plus has stayed on hand in this house since our son left. They'll be on hand at PIR as well.

I see FL in your name. Is that for Florida? I'm wondering how many other moms and SR's are from Florida.
