Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 327 & 328. These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the main wall to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

Hi everyone, I'm new to this site. My daughter seems to be a easy time with boot camp. I was soo surprised after hearing some moms saying their son were writing home saying they hated it and wanted to come home. 33 days left to go, can't wait to see her. She called me on Friday, her 2nd phone call she was allowed, and she shes doing great.
Susan, That's great news - glad she's doing well. Only 4 more Fridays then it's our turn :) Welcome to N4M's
Ship 09 Div 327 T-32 days! Just keep those letters going. I am sending extra motivational cards to Female SR's in this division. Go Navy!
Juanlaong56 What a lovely thing to do. Please send me a private message with their info and I'll do the same thing - hate to think there's SR's in there with no mail. I've asked my son if there's anyone not getting mail but he hasn't mentioned anything in his letters.
I asked mine the same with no answer yet. There is so much lag time between when they read our letters and are able to write back that I think they forget our questions by then. I also asked him to find out if he had any friends who would not have any family or friends at PIR. I would love to share liberty time with anyone who doesn't have their "own" family there :)
Ship 09 Div 328: My daughter mentioned in her letter that some females were not getting any mail. So, I took it upon myself over the weekend to put together 20 cards with a current event clipping, cartoon and a motivational quote. I mailed them all together in a medium sized PO envelope today and sent them to my daughter's ship/div address. I do not have names of the SR's, I addressed each envelope "Female SR" and no return address. I sure hope they get them!
Awesome MOM!!
Div 327 got extra phone calls today - keep your phones close
I got my phone call for the first time today!! was so glad to hear his voice, warms my heart. Please send me a private message as I have a question to ask you if you are going to be a PIR 10/12/2012. thanks
I sent you a friend request so we can private message :)
@momms ross yes ship 09 div 327 did get extra calls! I finally got one from my son!! of course he has been calling his wife but he was not able to get her so I got to hear his voice!!! so relieved to hear that he is ok :) as I expected it is being away from her that is the hardest and not boot camp itself. but he said another in camp did not have a phone card so he gave the one i sent him to that sailor so he could call since he bought one for himself (i did not know he had). that is my boy, such a giving compassionate young man. he wanted the other to be able to call home. I am so proud of him and so relieved to hear from him!!! Got 2 letters so far!
