Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 333 & 334. These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the main wall to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

I'm really not sure what he is classified as right now because he was gonna be a "gunners mate" then he had said he wanted to change it to seabee & now he wants to to change it to "corpsmen". which I would like him to do.

Hi everyone!

Computer issues have kept me from posting, even keeping up with posts is hard on a smartphone.  We have received 4 short letters and the questionnaire ~ I missed his call on the 11th and grab the phone every time it rings hoping to see the 847 area code.  He doesn't give much info and what he does give meshes with what everyone is saying here...there are a few bad apples spoiling the experience for everyone.  I hope they have gotten their act together since his last letter which with snail mail is actually rather old.

I wondered how often do you guys write your letters?  I usually write a pretty long one on the weekend and take it to the post office on Sunday night, then I will get a shorter mid-week.  Sometimes I send just a card.  I know his best friend is writing but he never mentions getting letters.  Maybe my SR is not very talkative, lol!

Glad to be back in the world of technology and glad to have all of you in support.  I am going to be a basket case when he actually deploys...

Hoping for the 'next call in two weeks' as someone posted ~ that would be close to my birthday and it would be the best gift I could get!

Good Morning everyone! Well no letter from my son yesterday, hopefully today. I attended my 17 yo sons JROTC Parents Night last night and they began the program with a slide show from last years JROTC events. As I watched the slide show, up pops my SR (in his goofy posses) in photos from the events he did at some of the JROTC Events last year. It was great to see those photos and just made me even more proud of his accomplishment! Have a great day!!!

I've been looking over those goofy  summer pictures of my son as well. I love to see his funny smile. I'm going to burst with pride when I see him on PIR day ( pass the puffs).

I Corinthians 16:13-14

Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be men of courage; be strong. 14- Do everything in love.

Pray for all our SR's this week- it's going to be HELL!

Super Cute Bunny Waving

Got a letter today!!! Justin says they will graduate in their blues that have 14 buttons and come up over their belly buttons.

( that's annoying- his words) They look really good in them. Hell week ( didn't say exact) is coming so he won't have time to write, but he is so ready for this!! Says the chief of the brother division (334) leads PT and he would work out in his sleep if he could- I guess they are getting in good shape.

He loves the letter and enjoyed the comic strip I added to last letter and asked for more. He wants to go have lunch at Hard Rock Cafe right after PIR. That's my boy!!!

That's great!  No letter here, maybe tomorrow for me.  I don't care what they are wearing, I just want to see him! :)

My husband got a letter from my son. Looks like he's doing real good. He and 3 others got 50/50 on a test in his division. He and 5 others were recognized for keeping their bunk and stuff 100% correct since the beginning. When he was called out for this he thought he was in trouble :) I also heard that div 334 got their 1st flag. I guess this div is finally coming together! Thank you Lord...

I'm so happy that they are coming together... He mentioned they did cadence for the first time without the the Chief telling them they could (whatever that means) and he said they sounded great - like they'd been doing it forever.  He was happy they were getting better at marching, and said he's ALMOST starting to enjoy it there.

Puts my mind at ease now a little, he sounded so good!

Received my letter yesterday and he said that he enjoys cadence and marching the most. The least favorite thing right now is he has to always clean up after his bunkmate. Clean up after his bunkmate? Now he knows what his mom and I went through for 19 years!! LOL!!!

Ha ha! So true here too!
