Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 349-350.

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the main wall to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

My son is in div 349

after reading the latest letter sounds like the group is getting into a routine, so hopefully that means they can write on Sundays

Hi Ladies, my son is ship11 Div349. Looking forward to 10-26-12!

Just received my first real letter from my son yesterday!! He informed me he is the RPOC/RCPO (Recruit Chief Petty Officer) for division 349!!!  I'm really excited for him, and I hope this position lasts for him.  He really seems to like it a lot.  BTW, he said their chief is pretty laid back and lets them write letters pretty frequently.  Also, he told me that the first 48 hours of bootcamp were BRUTAL. Being awake for all those hours was really tough, but he made it through. All of our SRs did!!

That's awesome.! What is your sons name?

Marcus :-)

My SR told me the same thing about Chief. If he doesn't see it then he doesn't know about it :)

TGIF everyone! Here's hoping we all get more letters OR a call this weekend!

2nd the hope for more letters, a call would be wonderful to hear their voices. Hopefully the tears can wait when we get our calls so we can talk :)

My Son is also in this Division..And is a Section Leader with Sharron and Emily's SR!!!! I am extremely Proud of all of our Recruits and to be a Navy Mom.. I want to share this:  .From the last letter I reciever from Chris he said "it is the most unexplainable feeling I have ever felt to hold a piece of unopened mail in my hands, that someone would care enough to write is amplified by being here "alone". (That is amazing in it self) but further writes , "not just for myself but for my bunk mate, who had not gotten any letters until last night, it made me feel so good that he finally got to experience the feeling".  Incredible!!!!!

My son is also in div 350.  And I have also only received one letter.  I am glued to the phone.  Even take it into the bathroom with me.  If I have to talk to him with soap in my eyes and shampoo in my hair, so be it!!!  LOL!
