I am going to meet and greet at the Ramada (where we are also staying) on the 27th. I think there are 9 so far that have RSVPd for that one. Your son's group must train with my daughter's group. I think she explained in her one phone call to me that Div 315 boys train with Div 316 girls and vice versa with girls in 315 and boys in 316. I was so excited to hear from her that day that is one of the few details I got from her. I have no clue how many are in their groups, etc.
Where are you coming from? I am only 3 hrs south of GL so I'm getting off work at noon and myself, my fiance and my parents are driving up there then. But first my fiance is driving to me from Ohio. He'll have a much longer day of travel. :)
We are staying at the Ramada but won't be in until late, we are coming from Ohio and I have to wait until my dad gets out of class.
Ranaew, my husband said 82 in their div but people are getting ASMO'd or DnR'd left and right, so that number might not be correct anymore.
We'll be at the Ramada as well, but I'm not sure what time we're going to make it in. Driving up from Louisiana is about a 15 hour drive. Leaving Wednesday afternoon, and driving as far as we can manage. Hopefully, we'll be there in time for the meet and greet. So glad today is letter day, and Thursday (mail day) is even better!
Be safe travelling. I don't know which way you'll be coming, but you might pass by my home if you're driving up Interstate 57 (I just live a couple miles off that near Champaign, IL) and that road can be very busy at times once you're in Illinois, sometimes bumper to bumper at 80 mph at the right time. Watch those speed traps! :)
Wow, thanks for the heads up. We will in fact be traveling on I-57. I'm hoping that we can avoid the heaviest traffic times getting there.
Can't wait!! Getting excited! I'm scared to get to excited afraid something might happen and disappointment will come. I will be strong and pray that all will work out. I'm going to try to make it to the meet and greet at the ramada. Hope to see some of you there. :-D
Yes - got two. Actually one of them was the questionnaire that was on here somewhere. But mail sort of comes to me quickly because I am only one night's mail travel away from Great Lakes. I usually get my mail on Tuesday or Wednesday and this week's came on Thursday. So maybe they went out later than usual?
I did get a letter this week, though it was a really short one compared to the ones that I had been getting from him. No doubt that they are super busy!
I can't believe that PIR is almost here! We're coming from Wa. State and staying at the Navy Lodge. Hoping that we won't get in too late to attend Sarge's meet and greet.
Our letter was really short too. He said that they were having a personal inspection and that he would have to keep his letter short. Maybe yours was too. We are also staying at the navy lodge. How are you getting to the gate in the morning. Are you going to drive or are you getting a cab? We are not sure what to do yet.
