Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 329 & 330. These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the main wall to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Super Cute Bunny Waving

Good Morning.  My son just joined Ship 3, div. 330.  Can someone please send me the address?  Thanks.

Hi Leoyak and welcome to the group! My son is in division 330. He's the one who doesn't call or often writes to his mother, lol.  His name is Dan. The address I have is SHIP: 03 DIV: 330, Recruit Training Command, 3600 Ohio Street, Great Lakes, IL 60088-3156. I hope your son does well in this division with the other SRs.

Thank you Gillianmv6.  It's nice to meet you :)

My son finally actually called!! Woohoo Happy Mommy Dance - a letter and a call in the same week! He said they are finished with Hell week and it wasn't too bad - lots of inspections but their division did pretty well. I also can't be mad at him for not calling since he said he gave up his call time the past two weeks so someone else "who really needed to call home" could have his call time. He sounded so great and said he isn't having too hard of a time except with PT. He's having to work extra hard on the push-ups and sit-ups. Their division flag is the oompa loompa's, lol. It was good to hear that he still has his unique sense of humor with his two favorite parts of BC being bacon for breakfast and jello with lunch/dinner. Poor kid said the one RDC reminds him of me - that she could  be my twin sister in mannerisms BUT he likes both RDCs. My son also said he is the section leader. The division seems to be having some trouble with team work but not as much trouble as a few of the other divisions. Dan said that he is confident they will get it all together for Battlestations. Gas chamber is this week coming up. Thanks for letting me share!

Dom called everyone he could think of yesterday. My son called his brother twice, telling him how much he loved him,and he regrets all the stupid fights. Wow this boy is changing!!! I cannot imagine how he got all this callingtime. My mom even got a call, she said dom was full of gratitude for all the sports clippings she sends. Dom had told me aboit the flag, funny stuf. He said their theme is keeping it real. He also said he likes his rdcs. No complaints either, yay . He said div 330 did well with marxhing scorea 4.7. Well it will not be long now. !!!!!!

I just now figured  how to get to this group discussion even though I have been a memebr since my SR left on August 14th, but I know alot of you already.  Must of been my computer, it couldn't have been me..LOL Hope everyone is doing well, I know we are all waiting for the "I'm a Sailor " phone call. I am so stressed that I catch my clenching my teeth.

Blue’s Clues Mail Song

Here's the mail, it never fails.

It makes me want to wag my tail.

When it comes I want to wail - Mail!

thanks for the memory smile, JustinMom! To think my SR is all grown up now when we used to watch Blues Clues as part of our daily routine. It doesn't seem that long ago.

love blues clues definately a big part of my day with my son back in the '90's.thanx
My daughter is in RCU for a stress fracture and is going to miss PIR. She has to heal then start when she left off. Could be there for many weeks. I have a beautiful proud mom of div330 ribbon I odered from lala. If you want it just pm me your address and I'll send it your way. It's very pretty! Good luck to everyone. She is sad being away from her division but she will be ok.
