Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 333 & 334. These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the main wall to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

Going casual, I did buy boots. My cousin (living in Chicago) says even the days are cool. Living in So Cal I wear sandals year round, and my idea of outerwear is a wet-suit.
Church casual is what I have been hearing!

Yes!!!!
My grandson did tell my son about the flag.
Woohoo! getting closer!!
Still keeping an eye up for the mail carrier today!!! I love his letters. I'm sending a letter every other day, just encouraging him and sending our favorite comic strip 'Zits" and pictures of my week. It helps to keep my mind looking forward to PIR instead of missing him.
I also send him cartoons and pics that I scan onto the back of the letters I write him. I am sorry to say I don't send them as often as you but I am trying. I have enlisted a lot of friends and family to write ;)
I only have my SR to write to. You are blessed to have others to write to. I'm sure you are a great source of strength for them. Keep up the writing!!!
Countdown!!! PIR 10/12/12
16 days 15 hours 57 minutes and 8 . .7 . . .6 seconds!!!
Praying continuously!!
Tick, tick, tick... Can't wait!
