Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 367 & 368.
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

we're getting there :) which ship and division is your fiance in??
My son is in the same ship, division. Did you get a surprise phone call last Thursday. I miss him and it was great to hear his voice.
Did you get your first call when she arrived? I haven't gotten my second one yet - and unfortunately I missed my first arrival call. I don't think we'll get our second call till the 4th week or so. There's no guarantees! Hang in there.
so both your daughter and husband joined at the same time? crazy! I'm in Pennsylvania....close to Philadelphia. Keep your phone with you at all times! That next call will be random and unpredictable!
My son is in Div 367 and I have not received a phone call either. I have gotten a letter though.
Is anyone flying out from California? I found reasonably priced tickets through kayak. 240 roundtrip from Ontario to Chicago O'hare.
We will be traveling from MD soooooooooooo cant wait until graduation. booked our rental car and hotel today!
As of right now, where is everyone staying?? I booked a room at the Days Inn Great Lakes through Hotels.com, but I am not sure if they have a shuttle to PIR or not. We will have our car, but I didn't want to have to bring it onto the base unless we really needed to.
We are at the same hotel! I was wondering the same thing about the shuttle. I was going to call the hotel when I got home. When I find out I will let you know. I wanted to shuttle to the PIR then just go back to the hotel after and work from there. Is your SR leaving for A school or staying in Great Lakes? Well I guess you dont know that yet. Are you excited? I know I am!
OK, good, at least I will have someone else at the same place! I was beginning to think I picked the wrong hotel! As far as I know, my husband will be staying in Great Lakes for A School, he's going to be an ET. Let me know what you find out about the shuttle, that would be great! I am so excited, I can't wait to see him and all of his new sailor buddies!! :)
hmmmm lol not sure if we chose the right hotel, but would sleep in the car if i had to to see my baby girl. I will let you know what I find out.
