Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 363 & 364.
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

My daughter has the same dates and A school as yours. She is in division 364. I would love to hear more from you. Hopefully they have become friends!!!!
Hi everyone, this makes it a lot easier to see who has kids in the same ship/div. I love it!!
Hi All! Step son went in 9/11 and graduates 11/09! Its been a bit easier for me so far since im only step mom i guess.. but he's been here in our home for 8 years and i pretty much raised him so.. he's mine! lol. I was doing fairly well until i started seeing moms getting letters today and none arrived here.. but i'm wondering if he even got ours since he only wrote 3505 S for the address instead of Sailors Way. Yup, thats our boy! He went in E3 and will be an Electricians Mate, A school in Great Lakes - works for us since we are just 5 hours away! Looking forward to meeting all of you at graduation!
Hi everyone, hope everyone is having a great day today. We are one day closer!! I got two letters from my daughter yesterday. Yes I cried but I was so happy to finally know how she is. She sounded very good, very upbeat and positive. She said a little bit about how they treat them, and the names they call them. She was as much prepared for it, as she could be, so it wasn't a shock to her lol. She said that when they cuss at them it isn't without affection in a weird kinda way. She also has to have some wisdom teeth removed, but we knew this before she left. The harshness is just their way of weeding out who can stand up under stressful situations and who can't. Tina just try and help your son put it all in perspective, in the end he will be a great Sailor. My daughter is a firm believer in god, and I don't think anything they throw at her will ever change that. Just try and be strong and positive for your son when you write to him, even if you don't feel that way right now. Then get on here and vent to us, cause we know exactly how you feel. Hang in there Tina *HUGS*
My SR had her wisdom teeth out. Two of them had grown in but before she left her dentist said if they weren't giving her any problems to leave them alone. She wrote one of the saddest letters I have ever read. She kept waiting for me to show up during her ordeal. Then afterwards she had a really hard time with the medication. But we heard from her on Saturday, briefly, but it was wonderful. She asked me to send her a bible which I did but I'm not sure if they will give it to her. Her recruit told me no packages. I hope they do because she will get a lot of comfort from having it and especially if they do have a bible study she can attend. That was great to hear.
