Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 371 & 372.

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Wow thats twice youve heard from your SR - im so jealous ;) Happy for you ;) Please continue to pull and and all information out of him for "our" SR's - we will all be hanging on his every word!

My son also needs to change his "list " of people that can see him graduate.  WIll I have to wait until I talk to him to tell him or is there someone I can call to let him know?  I'm sorry, all this is very new to me and I have so many questions!!

Hi,

Is anyone online who has a son in Ship 12 Div 372 who is going to be a hospital corpsman? Have you gotten any letters? I would like to know how they are doing? No letters from my son. I did not get a note from my son. Miss him more than words can say!

So far nothing from our divisions except calls home for more information :-(

My son is in Ship 12 Div 371 and is going to be a hospital corpsman.  I have only gotten the standard letter but nothing personal yet.  I am hoping on a daily basis that something will come from him.  I am anxious to know that he is doing well.  I just need to hear his voice!!!

My son is also on that ship and division. I miss him so much.  Want to hear his voice and just know that he is ok.

I am right there with you.  I have never gone a day without talking to him and knew this would be hard, but had really hoped to hear from him either by mail or phone by now.  Getting very anxious and friends are now telling me that I may need some meds before this is over..LOL.  I hope that we all hear from our loved one's soon!!

Hi NickCMom,

It's great to hear from you! Sorry, I wasn't able to answer sooner. Old computer giving me an ulcer.

Where are you from? We are from Dingmans Ferry PA. So your son must be going to

San Antonio TX after boot camp. Let's keep in touch. Not used to the site yet. Let's friend

each other.

Hi steeler crew....

thanks for the response.  It's nice to connect with others in the "same boat" :-)  I am in Rock Hill SC.  And Yes, he will be headed to San Antonio...a long way from home.  I am waiting for my first letter from him...not so patiently either :-)  I just need to know that he is ok.  What is your son's name and I will tell Nick that you and I have connected.  And I am still trying to get used to this site as well...there is a lot of info to take in.  Take care and I hope that we both hear from our guys soon!!

Thanks, hope someone hears something soon!

YAY! Thanks for sharing that info Abi Gail! So glad that they finally got mail.

Glad they finally got their mail.  Hey, did he get paid?  My son's check was suppose to be direct deposited into his acct but, haven't seen anything yet.
