Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 371 & 372.

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

My son's wasnt deposited either Ship 12 Div 372 and he had an existing NFCU account already/

I called his recruited who put me in touch with public affairs. My son also had an existing acct.  But, the guy I talked to said that their first checks would be used to pay for uniforms.  SO, guess we shouldn't expect one until the 15th.  Hope we get a letter or phone call this week!!

I have to share this with you guys....knowing that you will appreciate it :-)  The day that my son's BOX arrived, I was outside and walked up when the FedEx guy was at my door.  All I saw was COOPER in large letters on the side of the box...and I got so excited and started crying and said "that's mine".  I thought I had scared the FedEx guy to death...but he knew what it was and was very sweet and told me that he was in good hands and that he will be ok.  It's amazing how a box of clothes can excite you so much!!!  I know you all know exactly how I feel.

Has anyone gotten a letter or phone call?
Nope hopefully next week...

I got a letter! I don't really know how to use this site so, I'm letting you know personally... lol... He says they are behind because waiting on others to get to their division.  says its hard and they are just now getting to write on sundays.  but, can get mail every day so, they wanna be written to!!

Hi, my son is in Ship 12, Div 371.  Hospital Corpsman.  Going to San Antonio for A School.  Really looking forward to a phone call or something.  Getting so anxious.  We do know an RDC there and she did get to talk to him and he told her to "tell mom I'm fine, (roll the eyes), lol.  Still can't wait.

My son, Nick is in the same and will be going to San Antonio also.  I am having a really hard time today with not hearing from him.  I just feel an uneasiness today for some reason.  I hope that everything is ok, as I have not had this feeling at all since he has been gone.  I sure hope he is getting my letters and that I hear from him soon.

I know how you feel.  I'm the same way.  Hopefully we hear something soon.  Driving me crazy.

What is your son's name and I will mention to Nick in the letters that I write that we have met on Navy for Moms (which Nick insisted that I sign up on for support :-) ).

I got a LETTER!!! Says they were held back waiting on the div to fill up but, that now they will get to write every sunday.  However, he hasn't received any letters I have written.  I read somewhere that they didn't get their mail until Tuesday.  Says it is very hard and getting harder each day. But that he is still alive and safe.

OMG!!!  I need to leave work early and go check my mailbox!!  I am so happy that you got your letter!!
