Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 349-350.

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the main wall to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Hello everyone, my husband in division 349.

Hi Tasia! Welcome to the group!

Hi Tasia!  My son is in that division as well.

Wanted to share My sr just called :)  He sounds good, poor thing is coughing and said a lot of the group is sick :(  but they are surviving.

I just got my first phone call! 20 minutes of pure joy! He sounds so good! Says he misses music, video games and talking to people! They are starting week 3 today! He's in ship 11 div349! He says a lot of them have little colds but that's to be expected! They also won a color flag! Says his RDCs are pretty nice. He'll also get to come home foe Christmas! I'm so proud of him! ( and myself for not crying) Just to hear him talk and laugh made me so happy! It's a beautiful sound!

My son is also in Div 349 (Kevin) He is DMPO (Division Mail Petty Officer)  He should be getting to know all our sons pretty good. Lol

Your welcome! He is either the most like fellow there or the most hated..Lol

Kevin is no longer the DMPO (Div mail PO) but was chosen with 4 others from the division to be on Ship Staff, so among other things he is the SMPO (Ship Mail PO)  So he's still sorting the mail for all of us.  Sounds like all is going ok within the division.  He was writing on Sunday and the Chief had plugged in his phone for them so they could listen to music.  He said he was pretty cool, funny and chilled unless they got to loud or screwed up something that was important.  PO is more strict but cool too.  Monday the 24 was going to be week 2 day 5.  So today should be week 3 day 3....moving right along. 29 days till PIR

Castlerock53, who I think son's name is Spencer also mentioned a Vincent in one of her post... Kim

My fiancé is SHIP 11 DIV 350! PIR 10/26 he is the "weapons petty officer"
Lacylynn, your fiancé is in the brother division to my sons ( ship 11 div 349)

Does anyone know if we should be packing a suitcase of civilian clothes for our SR to bring to PIR?
